Xiuzhou District has a small Penglai, located in the southeast of Nengren Temple in the new town, formerly known as Huanqingfang, also known as Xiaotaoyuan. Changhong Bridge, located in Wangjiang Town, Xiuzhou District, is an ancient bridge across the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the largest stone arch bridge on soft soil foundation in Zhejiang Plain. Yi Shu Temple is located in the west of Changhong Bridge, formerly known as plain clothes Temple. It is said that a monk in the Tang Dynasty traveled around the world on his way to the South China Sea and stayed here for one night. It is also said that Emperor Qianlong lived here for one night and changed his name to Yi Shu 'an.
