A must-see beach in Quanzhou

The beaches that Quanzhou must visit: Qingshan Bay, Xisha Bay, Shishi Gold Coast, Yakou Beach, and Shishi Yongning Guanyinshan Beach.

Huian Qingshan Bay is located in Huian County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, China, near Chongwu Xisha Bay. It is a seaside summer resort in southeastern Fujian. Half Moon Bay, Castle Peak Bay and Jingfeng Huinv Bay compete for beauty, and Huian Coast is selected as the eight most beautiful coasts in China by National Geographic magazine.

2. Xisha Bay

Xisha Bay is located in Xishawan, Chongwu Town, Hui 'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, at the famous Chongwu seaside. There are more than 2,000 meters of high-quality beaches and the Martyrs' Temple of the People's Liberation Army, which is known as the first temple in the world, as well as colorful folk customs and acrobatic performances.

3. Shishi Gold Coast

Shishi Gold Coast is located in Shishi yongningzhen, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, on the west bank of the Taiwan Strait. There are Minnan Gold Coast Tourist Resort, Town God Temple, Zhenhai Stone and Ancient Acropolis Site in the scenic area. Minnan Gold Coast Tourist Resort is wholly owned by Hong Kong AIA International Group, with a planned area of 6,000 mu. The first phase of development is 1980 mu.

4. Yakou Beach

Yakoutan is located in Jinjiang, Quanzhou. Its biggest feature is many recreational activities: beach motorcycle riding, flying kites, selling swimming trunks and swimsuits, selling barbecue stalls with washing equipment, throwing sandbags and so on. Because the beach is wide, many vendors don't feel crowded at all.

5. Guanyinshan Beach in Yongning, Shishi

Guanyin Mountain of Shishi is located on the prominent headland between Hongtawan and Gold Coast. Standing on the mountain, looking around, the mountain is like a giant whale lying in the water, so it is called whale river. The Whale River around Guanyin Mountain is named as one of the eighteen scenic spots in Yongning, which is rich in coastal fishing village scenery and makes many tourists linger.
