Haba River in Altay, Xinjiang

Altay is located in the north of Xinjiang. Yarlung Zangbo River

Yarlung Zangbo River is called Yangchabu Zangbo in ancient Tibetan, which means water flowing down from the highest peak. There are three branches of its origin: the northern branch originated in the Gangdise Mountains, called Ma Rong Zangbu; The middle branch is called Chemarongdong, which is considered as the main source of the Yarlung Zangbo River because of its large annual water volume. * The southern branch originated in the Himalayas and is called Kubi Zangbo. This branch has a large amount of water every summer. After the confluence of the three tributaries, the section to Lizi is collectively called Ma Quan River, but in Zhadong area, it is also called Dabboura Zangbo and Tibetan Mahe River. Or Ma Zang Zang Bu, which means mother river in Tibetan. The Lhasa area is called the sheep's Tibetan cloth. To the west of Lhasa, the Yarlung Zangbo River is collectively called Dazhuokabu, which means water flowing from the mouth of a good horse in Tibetan. The area around Qushui is called Yalu in Tibetan, and the area where the river flows to Shannan is called Yalong (named after a Yalong song in Shannan). Therefore, this river is called Yalong Zangbo. However, in Qushui area, it is pronounced Yalu, because the exact pronunciation of "Lu" in Tibetan is "Long", which means the river flowing through the valley plain above Qushui, so the whole river is called Yarlung Zangbo River.

Himalayas

The Himalayas are the highest mountain range in the world, located between China and Nepal in Asia, and distributed on the southern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, starting from Nanga-Parbat Peak in Kashmir in the west (35 14'' 21 "north latitude, 74 35'' 24" east longitude and 8125m above sea level) and reaching Nanga Bawa at the bend of the Yarlung Zangbo River in the east. Mount Everest, the main peak, is 8844.43 meters above sea level. According to plate tectonics, the Himalayas were formed by the collision between India plate and Eurasia plate. Simao, Yunnan

Simao was once an important post station on the ancient tea-horse road. Due to the influence of subtropical monsoon climate, most areas here are frost-free all the year round, which is one of the important producing areas of famous Pu 'er tea and one of the largest tea-producing areas in China.
