Overview of Tourist Attractions in Sichuan Province Sichuan is located in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and is the most populous province in China. It enjoys a land of abundance. Since ancient times, human and natural resources have been extremely rich. Because this area was under the jurisdiction of Shu in the Spring and Autumn Period, it was called Shu for short. It is located in the southwest of China and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Chengdu is the capital of the Han, Yi, Tibetan, Hui and Qiang nationalities, and it is one of the historical and cultural ancient cities in China. It is also called the abbreviation of Furong City and Land of Abundance. Sichuan includes five geomorphic units: Sichuan Basin, Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Hengduan Mountain Range, Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and Qinba Mountain Area. The landform types are complex and diverse, characterized by mountains and plateaus. Tuojiang River, also known as Waijiang River and Zhongjiang River, mainly flows through the hilly area of the basin and is one of the most concentrated areas of ancient Shu culture. There are Sanxingdui Site in Guanghan, Han Shu Site in the Three Kingdoms near Chengdu, Zizhong Ancient City, Zigong Dinosaur Site, Du Yan Site and other tourist attractions. The Dafeishui Waterfall in Xiling Snow Mountain is composed of groundwater from two huge water-rich fault zones. The waterfall is 304 meters high, with flowing water and silver beads flying all over the sky. It is the highest waterfall in Sichuan. Sichuan American spring water is scattered over 485,000 square kilometers of land, which is the source of many rivers. China's first album "Famous Springs in China" listed Mianzhu Yufei Spring, Luding Wangyaoquan (Gongga Mountain Spring) and Songpan Emerald Spring as famous springs in China.
