Chengdu Wenshu Temple Tour Guide
Chengdu Wenshu Temple is a unique scenic spot with a very long history. Here, you can feel the strong Buddhist spirit. Everyone comes here with a pious heart to pray for peace and study. The temple has a quiet environment and is suitable for visiting. The following provides you with a detailed one-day tour guide.
I don’t remember when it started. Every time I go on a business trip, I go to the local temple when I have time and opportunity. I don’t deliberately pray for God’s blessing. Sometimes I stroll around casually, sometimes I express my admiration for the Buddha, and I feel calmer inside. There is always some inexplicable feeling that life seems to be connected with Buddha, and there seems to be some kind of wisdom in it.
The Diamond Sutra is engraved on the wall at the entrance.
There are obviously more pilgrims than Zhaojue Temple.
This is the back of the Main Hall. There are three plaques: The fragrance of nectar from Fazheng Tower hangs high in the bright sun.
Chenbao Tower, where scriptures and important cultural relics are stored, has a garden to the east of Wenshu Academy.
Understand it yourself.
Take a taxi from Zhaojue Temple to Wenshu Monastery. The driver said that traffic at Zhaojue Temple was very congested during this period. Please take you to the nearest subway station. It is most convenient to take the subway to Wenshufang Station. Chengdu’s subway has just opened and I haven’t experienced it yet. I think it would be nice to experience it, and I happily agree. The driver took me to Shengxian Lake Station, the starting station of Chengdu Metro Line 1. It looked more like a factory. After three stops, we arrived at Wenshufang Station.
Wenshu Fang, Wenshu Fang, only differs by one word, but has different meanings. Wenshu Fang is part of Wenshu Fang. The buildings around Wenshu Fang are all blue tiles, red walls, carved wooden windows. It has now been built into a tourist district with the theme of Buddhist Zen culture and folk culture. Wenshu Academy has profound historical roots. Its predecessor was Miaoyuan Pagoda Academy in the Tang Dynasty, and was renamed "Xinxiang Temple" in the Song Dynasty. It was destroyed by the disaster of war. Legend has it that during the Qing Dynasty, someone saw a red light at night, and the government sent someone to visit him. There is a statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva in the red light, which was used to raise funds to rebuild the temple during the Kangxi period. It is called Wenshu Monastery, and Emperor Kangxi's royal pen "Kong Lin" still hangs in the Main Hall. Thanks to the convenient transportation, this pure land in the center of the city is also on the 15th day. The pilgrims look more obvious than Zhaojue Temple, and all the buildings are more exquisite than Zhaojue Temple. Everyone is praying devoutly for their families.
Like all temples, the King's Temple, the Three Great Masters' Temple, the Mahavira Hall, the Dharma Teaching Hall, and the Sutra Library are solemn, simple and spacious in layout, with related functional rooms on both sides, forming a closed courtyard. . There is also a treasure in the School of Literature, which is the parietal bone of Master Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty. It is said that before liberation, three pieces were found in Nanjing, one was kept in Nanjing, and the other was sent to Xi'an. Because Chengdu is the place where Monk Tang was ordained, one piece is preserved here, but it is not open to tourists.
There was a word "福" on the iron fence of the Main Hall, which was touched and turned into gold. Because people firmly believe that bowing in front of the Buddha's door will definitely receive the blessing of the Buddha. But it cannot be seen or touched. What a shame. So just put a blessing on the door, which is both visible and tangible, the best of both worlds. I saw an old teacher hanging his hat on the fence, revealing his extremely bright head, touching the word "福" with both hands, and then touching his head with his hands. The movements were completed in one go, and he left calmly after about thirty strokes, which attracted others to follow suit. It is said that the Kirin in front of the Main Hall of Wenshu Academy has the power to cure diseases and protect health. Tourists like to touch the unicorn here, and then touch themselves, hoping to cure diseases and strengthen their health. This unicorn was so shiny that they couldn't help but touch it.
One hall after another, visitors are not allowed to pass through the middle of the main hall, and everyone walks through the corridors on both sides. In this vicissitudes of life and solemn literary courtyard, every corridor seems to reveal the purity and solemnity of an eminent monk. There are many handwritten words of warning hanging on the corridor, which read: "Be kind to others, be kind to others, and smile."
This tower was built by the vows of ten eminent monks, Master Guan Lin.
The last central axis of Wenshu Courtyard is Wenshu Pavilion, where many believers pray for the Ya'an disaster area. The pavilion is divided into four floors, with many plaques hanging from bottom to top, namely "Kong Lin Lecture Hall" and "Kong Lin Lecture Hall". "Kong Lin Buddhist Library" and "Manjusri Pavilion". There is a lush forest here. When you walk in the courtyard, you will feel the fragrance wafting in the air, and your mood will naturally be clear, peaceful and peaceful. Maybe people are like this. They What is needed is the influence of an environment. Passion may satisfy your temporary impulse, but it will not satisfy your lifelong happiness. Passion may be the beginning of your life, but being plain and low-key is definitely the process of life.
Walking out from the other side, I saw an iron tower. It was not tall, relatively slim for the clothing industry, and had the impression of a Korean version. Later I found out that this was Master Guan Lin’s wish to build the tower to pray for world peace, happiness for mankind, and long-lasting peace for the motherland. At that time, Master Kuan Lin was also one of the top ten eminent monks in contemporary China. When he came out, a large group of believers were there to raise funds for the disaster-stricken area in Ya'an. They would say "Amitabha" with gratitude. With a kind heart, I took out three banknotes and put them in seriously.
After walking out of Wenshu Courtyard, Wenshu Fang outside was relatively quiet, and most of the shops were actually open. Bar Street, Snack Street. It seems we will come back in the evening next time.
