The national professional standard for "Exhibition Planner" was promulgated in 2004. According to the established standards, after undergoing prescribed training and passing the corresponding professional qualification appraisal, you can obtain the qualifications of an exhibition business planner and have broad room for employment and development. The series of courses for exhibition planners are specially designed for those who are engaged in or intend to engage in exhibition management and planning, as well as corporate marketing and planning work.

Convention and exhibition planner is a person engaged in project management business activities such as conferences, exhibitions, festivals, venue rentals, incentive travel, and exhibition communication.
The main work content is: (1) Research (survey data analysis, writing survey reports, formulating development strategy reports for exhibition-related industries, and feasibility studies on international or cross-regional cooperation projects); (2) Planning (planning) The overall implementation plan of the exhibition project, planning the specific implementation plans of the exhibition, writing relevant copywriting, and planning the overall plan of major projects); (3) Sales (formulating the overall project marketing plan, producing marketing materials, customer contact and business negotiations); (4) Operation management (select venues and partners, manage exhibition site operations, formulate exhibition project budgets and control costs, be responsible for project team building and management; prevent and handle project crisis events).
Exhibition Planner Professional Level:
This profession has five levels: Level 5 (junior), Level 4 (intermediate), Level 3 (senior), and Level 2 (Technician), Level 1 (Senior Technician).
At present, the national unified appraisal has not yet been carried out, and some regions have carried out the province-wide unified appraisal of the fourth and third levels of national vocational qualifications.
Exhibition planner application requirements:
(1) National Vocational Qualification Level 4 (Intermediate) (those who meet one of the following conditions):
1. Obtain Level 5 (elementary) professional qualification certificate for this occupation.
2. Obtain a graduation certificate from a secondary vocational education-related major.
3. Obtain a higher education diploma (any major is acceptable).
4. Current students majoring in higher education (any grade is acceptable).
5. Students graduating from secondary vocational education-related majors.
(2) National Vocational Qualification Level 3 (Advanced) Appraisal (those who meet one of the following conditions):
1. Obtain the Level 4 (Intermediate) Vocational Qualification Certificate for this profession.
2. Graduates of higher education who have obtained relevant professional level four (intermediate) vocational qualification certificates.
3. Students graduating from higher education-related majors.
4. Obtain a diploma in higher education-related majors.
Relevant majors include: interior design, environmental art design, industrial design, architectural design and management, business administration, marketing, etc.
Related occupations include: interior designers, environmental art designers, industrial designers, architectural designers, people engaged in management and marketing, etc.

Exhibition planners do not carry out nationwide unified appraisal. Only some regions carry out provincial unified appraisal. For specific registration time, please pay attention to the local registration agency.
Registration materials for exhibition planners

Exhibition Planner Appraisal Method
The four-level appraisal method is divided into theoretical knowledge examination and operational skills assessment. The theoretical knowledge examination adopts a closed-book computer examination method, and the operational skills assessment adopts a written examination method. The theoretical knowledge examination and operational skills assessment are both based on a hundred-point system, and those with scores of 60 points or above are considered qualified. Those who fail in theoretical knowledge or operational skills can make up the exam separately according to regulations.
The appraisal method for Level 3 is conducted by written examination. The assessment is divided into four modules, all of which are based on a hundred-point system. Those with scores of 60 points or above are considered qualified. Those who fail can take the make-up exam in modules according to regulations.
Exhibition Planner Qualification Certification
Those who pass the examination will obtain the CETTIC "National Exhibition Planner" and "Vocational Training Qualification Certificate" issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, a national authoritative certificate , electronic registration, nationwide use, valid for employment.
