What if New Zealand visa materials and old passports are lost?
If the passport is lost, stolen or damaged abroad, which affects the normal use, the passport holder shall immediately report the relevant situation in writing to the sending unit and our local embassy or consulate, and the sending unit shall send a letter to the issuing authority to put forward the handling opinions, and the issuing authority shall notify the relevant embassy or consulate to reissue the documents after verification. If the passport is lost or damaged in China, the passport holder shall report the loss to the self-management unit in time, and the self-management unit shall report the cancellation to the issuing authority. The official letter submitted to the issuing authority shall include the following information:
(1) Brief description of lost, stolen or damaged passport;
(two) the name of the foreign embassy or consulate to go through the formalities;
(three) the name of the holder, the original passport number and the validity period;
(4) the reasons for the replacement of the passport;
(five) the time limit for the applicant to work abroad and the name and contact information (telephone number, fax number) of the contact person of the sending unit.
The official letter issued by the dispatching unit shall be signed by the signatory for the record and stamped with the official seal.
If the current passport of the party concerned is issued by our embassy or consulate abroad (or has been extended at the embassy or consulate abroad), a copy of the passport information page and the extension remarks page should be attached.
Special note: If your passport is stolen or lost during a temporary business trip abroad, you can apply for a travel permit directly to our foreign embassy or consulate, because you need your certificate urgently.
Domestic passport fee:
Cost: First time: 200 yuan/Ben; Renewal fee: 220 yuan/Ben (including renewal fee); Invalid: 220 yuan/Ben (including pre-licensing fee); Replacement of stolen or damaged goods: 220 yuan/Ben (including replacement fee); Lost replacement: 420 yuan/copy (including replacement fee); Note: 20 yuan/Japan.
