Sideng Street, called Nantang in ancient times, is the core ancient building of Shaxi ancient town. Known as "the only surviving ancient market on the ancient tea-horse road". Buildings with a history of more than 600 years, such as the ancient stage, Madian and the ancient temple, have been well preserved so far. There are two ancient Sophora japonica trees in the center of the street, which were selected into the World Heritage List of Endangered Buildings together with the ancient Great Wall.
2. Yujin Bridge
Founded in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, it is one of the four scenic spots of Shaxi where iron bridges lock water, and it is also one of the four ancient bridges in Shaxi ancient town. It stands quietly on the Heihui River, with simple shape, and the sunset on the Yujin Bridge is beautiful.
3. Shiqiao Bridge
Founded in the early years of the Republic of China, commonly known as "Guanfeng Bridge", it is one of the four ancient bridges in Shaxi ancient town. In ancient times, it was the only way on the ancient tea-horse road. Later, it was abandoned, and now it has the beauty of vicissitudes.
4. Xishan Bridge
It is the only cable-stayed bridge in Shaxi ancient town, also known as "Children's Bridge". It is an ancient bridge with a long history and one of the four ancient bridges in Shaxi ancient town.
5. Wenfeng Bridge
Built in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, it is now well preserved. There is a tile-roofed corridor for passers-by to rest on the bridge, which looks like the rain bridge in Dongxiang. It is one of the four ancient bridges in Shaxi Ancient Town.
