Judging from the available data, this kind of New Year pictures only exists in Gaomi in the country. The main production areas are in more than 30 villages in Jiangzhuang and Xiazhuang, Beixiang, Gaomi. The New Year paintings of Puhui are developed on the basis of freehand Chinese painting. The so-called ashes are to use willow branches to burn ashes, trace lines as a base, and make multiple copies at a time. The artist then powders the face and hands on the printed manuscript, applies color, traces gold, outlines lines, and finally applies clear oil to key parts. The technique of dusting New Year pictures is unique, using color instead of ink, the lines are bold and smooth, the writing is full of meaning and the style is bright. The New Year paintings mostly feature ladies, fat babies, opera characters, mythological stories, landscapes and flowers. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, various clay toys were produced and sold. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, the variety of clay toys increased, and some of them could move, scream, and fight. The folk song says: "Niejiazhuang, facing the south gate, every household is making clay figurines." After nearly 200 spring and autumn years, it has completed the evolution from simple shapes to complex structures, and gradually formed the current art with sound, shape, color and movement. There are more than 150 varieties of products. Niejiazhuang's clay sculptures are exaggerated and simple, rough and unrestrained, with complete compositions.
