Shadow play theme park is the first parent-child park project with the theme of intangible cultural heritage shadow play in China, which is built by using the low-carbon life museum and children's Expo Park of the World Expo. With the design concept of "Dancing Shadow Play and Marching into Tangshan", this project has created a series of new ways to play shadow play, which has enabled the intangible cultural heritage of shadow play to be activated and passed down in the "interactive experience" and truly entered people's lives, and has been favored by the tourism market.

While constantly innovating cultural tourism projects, Tangshan actively responded to the national strategy of promoting the development of ice and snow industry, identified the entry point of ice and snow tourism, and built a super-large fantasy ice and snow world of more than 70,000 square meters in the shadow play theme park, attracting tourists from Tangshan and surrounding cities to visit and break through the "hard ice" in the off-season of winter tourism in the north. Shadow Play Theme Park has received nearly 80,000 tourists since the opening of the Ice and Snow Happy Season, which has effectively promoted the development of the "cultural tourism+ice and snow" industry and become the "bright spot" of the ice and snow economy.
