Travel in Busan

Busan is famous for its seafood. To eat sashimi, you have to go to the Busan Fish and Shell Market (Jagalchi Market) or a Japanese restaurant. There are also seafood restaurants lined up on the seaside of Haeundae and Gwangalli.

The origin of grilled steak (marinated with salt and sesame oil and then grilled on an iron plate) is Haeundae. The famous restaurants are Mangwol House and Fuguang Garden on Mangwol Hill.

Seafood and scallion pancakes made of flour, seafood and scallions are a famous snack of Dongnae Hot Spring; seafood cooking along the Hannyeosu Channel and Tongyeong’s sushi are also famous.

One of the representative traditional Korean foods: grilled pork belly. The main tourist attractions in Busan include Dongnae Burneosa Temple and Taejongdae. It has the largest bathing beaches in South Korea - Haeundae, Hwa Songdo, Da Daeppo, as well as Dongnae, Haeundae hot springs, etc., which are health resorts. Busan has more than 50 parks, bathhouses, etc.

Ulsan Rock

Ulsan Rock is composed of 6 granite peaks with a circumference of 4 kilometers. Climbing Ulsan Rock, you can see the scenic scenery of Seoraksan Mountain and the East Sea, Damo Peak and Hakshapyeong Reservoir area. There are three legends about the origin of Ulsan Rock's name: one is that it was called "Ulsan" because of the appearance of a fence road (similar to Korean grammar), another is that it was named after Ulsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, and another is that it was named "Crying Mountain" "Used in Korean Chinese characters.

It takes about 2 hours to climb to the top of Ulsan Rock (4 kilometers). After passing Shenxing Temple and walking along the main road for about 10 minutes, turn to the left and you will see a bridge. After crossing the bridge, Anyangan is on the right. Walk forward for another 25 minutes. Naewonan is on the left. It takes about 10 minutes (300 meters) from the resting place here to Jizuan. Jizuan is located in a cave under a huge boulder. There is a rocking stone inside that can be pushed by one person. Jijoan is a hermitage built using a natural rock cave. If you stand in front of the rocking stone and look towards the back of Jijoan, you can look up at Ulsan Rock. Climbing 500 meters along the steep mountain road from Jizuan, there is Ulsan Rock, known as the largest rock in the East. It is 950 meters high, surrounded by cliffs and has 808 steps of iron ladders.

Longtou Mountain Park

Longtou Mountain is also known as "Longtou Rock". The shape of this mountain looks like a dragon flying into the sky from the sea level. As the name suggests, it is called "Longtou Mountain". Here you can enjoy the beautiful sea view and the beautiful surrounding scenery, which looks particularly sentimental under the afterglow of the sunset. A representative building, the Busan Tower, was built in the park, which symbolizes the long history and culture of Busan.

Taejongdae

Taejongdae is a protected cultural relic of Busan City. Together with Oryukdo Island, it is a famous rocky coast that represents Busan. Centered on the highest peak at an altitude of 250 meters, there are more than 200 kinds of trees including pine trees.

The 29th king of Silla (one of the ancient countries, occupying part of the Korean Peninsula, 57 BC - 935 AD) - King Taejong Muyeol (604-661) visited Taizong when he toured the country. The platform is popular for archery, so it is called Taizong Terrace. There is a fairy rock under the lighthouse of Taejongdae. It is said that gods once came to live here.

There is a husband-watching stone on Shenxian Rock. It is said that a woman waited here every day for the return of her husband who was forcibly taken to Japan, and finally turned into a stone statue. Whenever there is a severe drought, a rain ceremony is held at Taizongtai. The rain that falls on the tenth day of the fifth lunar month every year is called Taizong Rain. When the weather is clear, you can also see the Ushima Islands (Japanese islands) on the other side of the island in the distance from the observation deck.

Beomyu Temple

Beomyu Temple is located at the foot of Geumjeong Mountain, a famous mountain in Busan. It was built by Master Yixiang (625-702) during the 18th year (678) of King Munmu (661-681) of the country at the center.

In the geographical chronicle "Zengdong Kingdom and Landscape Views", the origin of Fanyu Temple is recorded as follows: There is a well on the ridge of Jinjing Mountain, which is golden in color, and there are golden fish riding on five-color clouds. He went down to play in the well from the sky, so it was named Jinjing Mountain and Fanyu Temple.

The original building of Beomyu Temple was destroyed during the Imjin Japanese Rebellion (1592-1598), and the building was rebuilt in 1713. The architectural techniques of Daeungjeon are delicate and gorgeous, and it can be called the pinnacle of architecture during the Ri Dynasty (1392-1910).

The temple has a three-story stone pagoda built around the 9th century and a one-pillar gate supported by four pillars, as well as 7 pavilions, pavilions, 3 gates, 11 nunneries, etc. In addition, there are protected plant-vine forests integrated with the valleys in between.

Gwangalli Beach

Guangalli Beach is located on the road between Busan city center and Haeundae. The number of tourists here is second only to Haeundae Beach. Because it is located in the center of the city, the transportation is very convenient, and more than 300,000 tourists come here every year. It is 1.8 kilometers long and more than 1.2 million square meters wide, with clear water.
