Ecological characteristics

Dalinor Lake is the second largest inland lake in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its water quality is chloride heavy calcium carbonate magnesium type water, the salt content is mainly carbonate, and the pH value is 9.4 ~ 9.6. Due to years of drought and other reasons, the evaporation is greater than the supply, and the lake surface has shrunk. The water in Darinol Lake contains 5% salt and a certain amount of alkali, so it is difficult for exotic species to survive. Only two kinds of fish, crucian carp and China, are produced in the lake.

In order to protect fishery resources, fishing grounds only fish in winter. Spring is the migration and spawning period of Chinese fish eggs, and all fishermen patrol the patrol points on the shore 24 hours a day to ensure the smooth migration channels, and the effect of ecological protection measures is gradually emerging. More and more winter catches have made new gains, and plateau loach, which was rarely seen before, has been found in winter catches. With the improvement of the ecology of the lake area, the species of fish will be more abundant.
