Passport is a legal document issued by citizens of a country to prove their nationality and identity when they enter or leave the country, travel abroad or stay. The word passport means port pass in English. In other words, a passport is a passport for citizens to pass through international ports in various countries. So some countries in the world usually issue passports instead of passports. Passports are issued in different countries. China passports are divided into diplomatic passports, official passports and ordinary passports, and ordinary passports are divided into official passports and private passports. Diplomatic passports are mainly issued to deputy ministers, officials above the vice governor, heads and deputy heads of important delegations such as the party, government and army, diplomatic officials, consular officials and their accompanying spouses, minor children and diplomatic envoys. Article 2 The passport of the People's Republic of China is a document for People's Republic of China (PRC) citizens to enter or leave the country and prove their nationality and identity abroad.

No organization or individual may forge, alter, transfer, intentionally damage or illegally detain passports.
