Qi Jiguang's anti-Japanese story

According to records, on November 7th, the 42nd year of Ming Jiajing in A.D. 1563, more than 20,000 Japanese pirates landed on the coast of Dongsha at the border of Puxian and invaded Xianyou. Three nests in the east, south and west were established in the suburbs of Xianyou, and the county town was besieged for more than 50 days. Chen, the magistrate of a county, asked Fuzhou for help while leading the people of the city to stick to it day and night. The Japanese attacked the city violently with bamboo cards and wooden ladders, and they were all repelled. Liu Lian, a warrior, killed many pirates who went to the city, and he was seriously injured and sacrificed heroically.

1February 26th, Qi Jiguang led 2,000 troops to Xianyou for rescue. Qi Jiajun arrived at Shima, a town in today's Gaiwei, and took Shima as the forward command post to deploy operational strategies. The strategy is to confuse the enemy with the plan of suspicious soldiers, fire from time to time or deliberately lure the enemy with soldiers. At night, a wooden board with a length of about 2-3 meters was used to make a light stand with more than a dozen lanterns on it, and the soldiers were ordered to hold the lanterns (which were still used by the people during the Lantern Festival) to approach the county seat.

When the enemy found that the Qi army had arrived, they were already afraid. Seeing the light clusters all over the mountain, I thought there were thousands of troops coming, and I hurried to the northwest. At this time, Qi Jiajun striker Tong and his 300 soldiers have arrived at the south gate of Liukeng in Licheng Town, and were blocked by Mulan River, which is very deep. In order to save the people in the city, Qi Jiguang ordered the whole army to cross the Mulan River. The soldiers bravely stepped on the pool one by one and fought to the death with the Japanese army in Huxiaotan, defeating the Japanese soldiers.

Many Qijiajun died heroically in the torrent of Tiger Roaring Beach, and so did Qi Jiguang's wife and younger brother General Wang. Therefore, Huxiao Beach has become the glorious former site of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. After the Tiger Roar Lake, Qi Jiajun was giving the enemy a thunderous blow, forcing the enemy to flee to the west. Qi Jiajun made a quick pursuit of victory, and fought fiercely with the enemy for eighteen rounds and nine rounds on a hill in Longquan, near the Seventh Land Temple in Hongqiao, Licheng Town.

The killed enemy lost his helmet and armor, ran about, cried and howled, and was at a loss. At this point, the enemy's elite was lost, but more than 500 remnants fled to the east in desperation, killing the map and going to sea, but they were blocked by the villagers and defenders in Dongmen and had to go north to Fei Da Mountain. The villagers of Balong and Fuyang, near Feishan, who heard the news, were United as one enemy and fought bravely to stop them. The enemy could only obediently drill into the Yanshan Grand Canyon in Kowloon. In this Jedi, more than 500 remnant bandits were wiped out by the Qi family army.

Finally, a few remaining bandits broke through from the south and fled to Longhua, Daji and other places, which were intercepted by the masses and eventually eliminated by the villagers. The monks of the Three Buddhist temples in Daji fought bravely and made contributions to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
