Finally, I have reached the end of the world
Argentina in December is in early summer. It is her most beautiful, sexy and intense moment.
Anyone who has seen "Spring at First Breath" has planted the seeds of ushuaia in their hearts early. People who dream of the Antarctic must also know this city, which is the only place to go to the Antarctic from Argentina. Every ship must set off from Urumqi.
beagle channel, "The End of the World", Radish Ding Lighthouse, the last ticket. . . Which is the key word of Urumqi? Which one can really represent this place?
Many times, dreams come true in an instant, which is within reach. Get rid of the bleak winter and embrace the summer in South America.
On the first day, I left Calafat.
I left from Calafat to ushuaia. I just got off the plane and was frozen silly. I immediately dropped my mountaineering bag, took out my clothes and folded them one by one. There is no match and it is thick, and the troubles are long and many. It is very difficult to dress the backpack and remove the equipment, which is very embarrassing.
The bag was too big, and I barely poked it on the column in the airport lobby (not too big). When I was in Buenos Aires, I threw the bag directly on the ground and poked it on the roadside tree. At that time, I felt like a beggar. The big tree used to poke the bag is the same tree that the dog pees and occupies the territory.
I didn't contact the hotel to book a car in advance, and I still didn't know anything about the outside in the long security queue before I left the airport. I looked at the tourist posters, fat penguins and leaping dolphins, but I wanted to see the lighthouse.
When I went out, I saw a taxi, asked the price, pushed my bag into the seat next to me and set off for the hotel.
As soon as you get out of the airport, you need to cross a long highway, which connects the airport with the city. On one side of the highway is a sea lake, with mountains in the distance and the sea on the other side. The air is so fresh and clear, it's like the end of the world here.
Now I live on the other side of the globe (the other side of Argentina), but in this city, there are countless corners filled with the feeling of ushuaia. There are calm waters, seabirds who are not afraid of people, harbors and big ships. It seems that it secretly comes here to hide, and occasionally shows itself to me, reminding me, hey, I'm chasing you. Hey, when will you come back with me?
this is the penultimate journey of the whole journey, and it is drawing to a close. Time can only stay for a day and a half, and it is near noon when we arrive at the hotel. There are 8 mixed men and women, with the upper bunk.
the roommates in the room are all tall and big. In the bed under the door was a young man from Nordic countries, with his hair over his shoulders and carelessly braided, lying on the bed with his legs crossed and reading. The palm of your hand is bigger than the book in your hand, and the legs in shorts are longer than the bed. Baggage, wet towels, shoes and clothes are casually spread around.
Leaving the front leg from Calafat has caused a dull pain. In addition, I have been carrying heavy loads, and I feel the pain is getting worse and worse. The place where I was bitten by fleas the day before is getting itchy. I need to scratch my left wrist in five minutes. A few days of physical exhaustion and lack of sleep made me want to lie in bed for a while like a Nordic brother, but I was reluctant to give up.
I got out of bed, put my luggage in the cupboard, and went out to the front desk to ask about the tour to see the lighthouse tomorrow. Actually, I don't want to wait for a moment. I want to leave now.
I didn't choose a national park, and I didn't look at the southernmost post office in the world. Just the lighthouse.
I was already hungry and fainted when I went out, but I turned left by my strength and didn't look at mobile navigation. The result is getting farther and farther. The more you walk, the more you discover the character of this "town". There are few people in the street, and each family's house has its own characteristics. Passing by a row of villas, the yard is covered with the same green barbecue grill.
It took me less than half an hour to find that I really couldn't find the north, and finally I took out my mobile phone to prepare for navigation. I don't need the best restaurant, I don't need ranking, I just need any place to sell and cook food to appear in front of my eyes.
Take the mountain range at the end of the city as the origin, and walk towards the city center compared with the map. Going around, my leg hurts more and more. I arrived near the port first, then found a way to go up, and turned left to an Italian restaurant. I didn't expect to have lasa for my first meal at the end of the world. A drinks Tonica-but I actually eat these everywhere I go.
The dining room has two rows of big bright windows, and there are no compartments. Tables, large and small, are crowded inside. It's not past lunch time, and people are coming and going, even the waiters are struggling to move around. I was greeted by a middle-aged uncle, tall and strong. Hanging a towel on his shoulder, he looks like a standard waiter.
as soon as I entered the restaurant, my mobile phone died, so I didn't bring a charging cable, but I happened to experience the farthest lunch quietly.
it's only after two o'clock in the afternoon after dinner, and I walked back to the seaside from memory. Because there will be a tour tomorrow, I want to find a port now. There are many small houses with different colors near the port. Different travel agencies work in these small houses, next to the famous ushuaia landmark.
Just across the street is the Visitor Center. When you walk in, you see many people waiting in line. The clever one came last, and it was my turn in ten minutes. I said to the service staff, "Good afternoon, I'd like to stamp it." . She smiled at me and said, "Where's the passport?" I took it to her, and with a bang, the most precious stamp on my passport appeared.
The sunshine in Urumqi is just right, strong but soft. Obviously, the wind is blowing. Now one year has passed, but I only remember the warmth. Unconsciously, I went to the seaside where I started. From this angle, I couldn't see the complete horizon in an unobstructed view. On the right hand side, there was a distant protruding coast, and on the left hand side, there were towering mountains and white snow on the top of the mountain, which was out of reach but clear enough to be close at hand. There are several super-large ships parked at the foot of the mountain. I don't know whether to set off for the South Pole or just dock, bringing another group of people who have realized their dreams back to reality.
put down your bag and sit in the sun everywhere, and the sun shines on yourself, which is warm. This is the only feeling I remember when I recall it one year later, but I was almost blown away by the strong wind that day, and the sea breeze blew all the time, which was much colder than in Calafat. I wanted to share the scenery with my boyfriend at that time, so I had to enjoy it all by myself when my mobile phone was out of power, but it became the most unforgettable ten minutes in ushuaia.
A little seagull crept up to me in the middle, raised his camera and squatted on the ground to take a close-up of it.
It was only four or five o'clock when I got back to the hotel. My legs ached, I was sleepy, I was cold, and all the fatigue drove me to go to bed and have a rest. I accidentally fell asleep, vaguely remembering that it seemed to be raining outside in my sleep. However, it seems incredible now. It's so sunny and the sun is so warm. How can it rain?
However, I have been to ushuaia, which is incredible.
When you wake up, it's getting a little dark. Get out of bed at once and get ready to go to the bustling place in the city center.
When I walked downtown, many shops were closed. I got into a small shop, walked around carefully and bought some refrigerator stickers. The shop assistants are two tall ladies. I asked them if there are any recommended restaurants nearby. I want to try what the locals like. They looked at me happily and said that the one next to me is very good. Turn left when you go out, and it's next door.
Sure enough, when I went out, I saw a restaurant with a special facade. The door was on the second floor, and I had to climb two flights of stairs to get there. The stairs and handrails were all made of wood. Outside the corner was a pine tree as high as the second floor, with dense leaves, which quickly covered the landmark decoration in front of it. The reddish-brown wooden door is very narrow, but the layout inside is very warm. The tables are small and decorated with wine bottles. I found a comfortable sofa by the window, facing in and waiting for the waiter to come.
I was served by a handsome little brother who handed me the menu and asked me what I wanted to eat. I asked what was the most popular thing here, and he replied awkwardly:
I was amused by his humor and pretended to be calm.
He pointed me to a piece of beef and ordered red wine for one person. I'm full of sleep, and I'm in a good mood. Everything is perfect except my leg pain.
It was completely dark after dinner, and there were few people in the street when I came out of the restaurant. I wanted to insist on walking back to the hotel, but the pain in my leg was constantly struggling with my fantasy. I was impressed that Bolivia was full of pharmacies, but I wanted to buy a painkiller in Argentina-I had secretly admitted in my mind for thousands of times that I was too old to accept my old age, but I didn't see any pharmacies.
So I gnashed my teeth at every step and moved to an open drugstore near the seaside path, bought a painkiller, asked for a glass of water and swallowed it immediately. Go out and take a taxi and go back to the hotel-it's really impossible for people to refuse to obey!
This night also made me get into the habit of taking plasters and painkillers with me when traveling.
The next day, I arrived at the end of the world.
I don't know what people will think when they see the word "lighthouse", but the lighthouse at the end of the world in ushuaia must be the first lighthouse that many people have wandered through. As the southernmost continental lighthouse in the world, its unique geographical location endows it with unique significance. Red and white, with another name of "radish diced", is located in the famous beagle channel.
The first time I knew about this lighthouse was in the movie "Spring Break Out". You can leave all your worries here. And I seem to have left myself here.
There are more than ten of us on board, standing at the stern and looking at the city, leaving slowly, passing through various small islands, lazy and tender seals, huge seabirds and penguins left behind in the sea. They are the owners here, and we just got their tolerant permission to visit here.
halfway through the boat, everyone exclaimed, it turned out that there were several whales in the distance, not dolphins, but whales! As soon as he heard someone calling for a whale, the captain immediately put out the fire and let it float on the sea. Everyone held their breath but looked into the distance like groundhogs.
in a short time, there was an exclamation from the ship hundreds of meters away, and the captain immediately struck a fire and sailed in that direction at three times the speed of the previous ship. Whales are huge, just like on TV, they will pick their tails out of the sea and pat them hard. Repeatedly, a water column will be ejected, instantly forming a mini rainbow. Everything came suddenly, unreal and unacceptable.
After watching the whales, turn the boat around and continue to sail like a lighthouse.
It took a while to see the lighthouse from a distance. The lighthouse is located on a mini island, which is not uncommon here, and it is the only one with a lighthouse. It may be more accurate to say rocks.
I zoomed in and started taking pictures from far away. When there was still a distance from the lighthouse, the captain didn't add any horsepower, leaving the boat floating on the sea. I went to the bow and moved to the railing with difficulty and asked the staff to take pictures for me.
this is the most important purpose of my coming here, and it is also the southernmost place in the world that I have been to.
I can't describe the feeling at that time. It was the first time to punch in the place on my "coordinate list". There are many places I want to go, but no more than five have such a strong sense of destiny, and this is the most difficult one to reach. However, I really saw it. At the top of the lighthouse, there is a lonely seabird, who looks into the distance smartly, which is the direction of the South Pole.
On the way back, we stepped on an island. As soon as we got there, the tour leader told us that you can take any photos you want on this island, but you can't take any stones with you when you leave.
We lined up in the distance and stopped to listen to him introduce various plants to us from time to time.
The reason for work is to master a lot of technical terms, which we always think will never be used after leaving the construction site. Here, we have also learned various words that may not be remembered after leaving the island, but each of them has its own meaning. They have nothing to do with your real world, but they really live on an unknown island on the other side of the world. There is no one on the island, and there are indeed flowers and plants you have seen, but more of them you have never seen. I live here in obscurity and care for myself, just like you in the distance, I am also unknown and have dreams.
At the highest point of the island, the tour leader told us to stop taking pictures. I took out my compass and found the direction of the South Pole. But there was a row of low mountain islands ahead, and I couldn't indicate the distance without obstacles. But I still took a photo facing there. To be honest, I was not confident that I could go further south.
After getting off the boat, Gao Ge and his wife went to the city to eat crabs. The king crabs bigger than the head were divided among the three of us, and one person really couldn't finish them. Before disembarking, I would never have thought that I would meet my China compatriots on the boat and fight crabs together.
China people are reserved wherever they go, and the chances of greeting and getting acquainted with Asian faces in the same boat are much less than those of seeing whales.
let's say goodbye after dessert at the ice cream shop next door.
From the same place, we meet and say goodbye at the end of the world. What a special thing. They drove back to the hotel, and I spent the last time wandering around the city center alone. I first went to the store to buy something, and after a painful choice, the refrigerator in the store wanted to wrap it up. I ran to the side of the road and watched a live-action close-up opera. The sun has softened. I looked at my watch and moved to the hotel regretfully.
Some people say that ushuaia is a safe haven in people's hearts. Full of lost, true self and talk. Over and over again, you always see these words, but everyone's story is always different, and what needs to be put down is different. This special theory of relativity makes this place special forever.
I hate the word "reconciliation". What is there to reconcile? Why give in? What has been entangled is the most important to yourself, and those that are difficult to give up are the most special.
some things don't need to be said goodbye, and they shouldn't be said goodbye.
Spring is always bundled with ushuaia. Although the film mainly takes place in Buenos Aires, the whole story must end in ushuaia.
The tone, dialogue and eyes of the characters in the movie-I didn't understand anything before I went to Argentina. After I went there, I went back to see the movie and it was embedded in my heart, and even the light could be found. Whether it's black and white or yellow, it's exactly the same as what I saw. It's so amazing.
In movies, lovelorn people will leave all the unhappy past behind, leave and start over. But the inclusiveness here is not limited to feelings. It is a place where all your worries can be sealed and you can dump them to your heart's content. You won't feel lonely when you are alone, and only yourself can accompany you in the end. The past is good or bad, and the person you are unfamiliar and familiar with can't compete with the truest self inside. Do you dare to pull yourself out bravely and face all happiness and sadness, happiness and despair, warmth and loneliness? Anyway, you can find a foothold here.
next time, I want to go back in winter. At the end of the season, go to the end of the world.
The screen saver of mobile phone has always been a lighthouse. One day, I will go back again.
When I left ushuaia, it was already evening, and I completely forgot how I finished the check-in and where I boarded the plane. I only remember sitting in a taxi to the airport, and my footsteps followed the four wheels of the taxi step by step on that narrow road.
