Eight views of Jining

1, Taibailou: Jining Taibailou is located on the north bank of the ancient canal in rencheng district, Jining City, Shandong Province, north of the middle section of Taibailou Road. It was named after Li Bai's drinking and writing poems here. After thousands of years of renovation, it is one of the eight ancient scenes in Rencheng (now Jining). Taibai Building, as one of the famous historical and cultural buildings in China, has a long history and has been witnessing the inheritance of poet Li Bai in Jining. It is a cultural landmark in the minds of generations of Jining people.

2. Tower Tapur: Jining Tower Tapur, located at No.78 Guhuai Road, rencheng district, Jining City, Shandong Province, China, is a famous Buddhist temple with a history of thousands of years. Founded in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, in the first year of the Northern Qi Dynasty (560), it was originally named Chongjue Temple, and was later famous for its iron tower.

3. Guanyin Pavilion: Guanyin Pavilion in Jining City, Shandong Province is a religious building with a long history. It was built in the 18th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1386). After two renovations during the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and Jiaqing period, the original site is located in the southeast outside the old city, and now it is located at the western end of Jiefang Road, which is one of the Guo Cheng 18 gates in Jining. Guanyin Pavilion was relocated on 1994 due to urban expansion. Located in the south of Wuliying in the east of the city, with a total area of about 16 mu, it was the largest building in China at that time.

4. Nishan Holy Land: Jining Nishan Holy Land is located in Nishan Town, Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province. It is a large-scale cultural experience scenic spot with Confucius culture as the core. The overall planning area is 44.78 square kilometers, which integrates cultural exchange, cultural experience, learning enlightenment, eco-tourism, leisure and vacation, education and training.

5. Jining Ancient Canal: Jining Ancient Canal is located in the middle section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, with a total length of 140 km. As a part of the World Heritage Grand Canal, its geographical location is very important. It is described in the history books as "Jianghuai in the south and Gyeonggi in the north", "located in the four sides of the canal" and "locking the key when it is closed and customs clearance when it is opened". Jining is the birthplace of Confucian culture and has the title of "Hometown of Confucius and Mencius".

6. Kong Lin: Jining Kong Lin, also known as Zhishenglin, is located at the north 1.5km of Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province, and is the family cemetery of Confucius and his descendants. It is also called "Three Holes" with Confucius House and Confucius Temple. 196 1 was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units on March 4th, and 1994 was listed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO in February.

7. Confucius Temple: Confucius Temple is a temple dedicated to Confucius, a great thinker, educator and founder of Confucianism in ancient China. Founded in 478 BC, after the expansion of various dynasties, it has become the largest and most well-preserved Confucius Temple in China.

8. Confucius House: Confucius House, also known as the Duke's House of Feast, is located in Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province, China, on the east side of Confucius Temple in Qufu City. It is the residence of descendants of Confucius' hereditary duke feast. Hongwu was founded in the 10th year (1377) and rebuilt in the 16th year of Hongzhi (1503), covering an area of 240 mu.
