Estonia, a European town! The Republic of Estonia is one of the three Baltic countries in Eastern Europe. The capital is Tallinn. Located on the east coast of the Baltic Sea, it borders Russia to the east, Latvia to the south, the Gulf of Finland to the north, across the sea from Finland, and the Gulf of Riga to the southwest. The border is 1,445 kilometers long and the coastline is 3,794 kilometers long. It has a maritime climate, with an average temperature of -5℃ in winter, 16℃ in summer, and an average annual precipitation of 500-700 mm. Natural resources are scarce, oil shale and limestone are the main minerals, and forests cover 47% of the country. There are 1,400 lakes in Estonia (most of them are small, the largest is Lake Chud, with an area of ??3,555 square kilometers), numerous swamps, and a coastline of 3,794 kilometers.

Ai has 3,489 kilometers of air routes and 10 airports across the country, but most of them can only take off and land small aircraft. Tallinn Airport is the largest passenger airport in Estonia, capable of taking off and landing large passenger aircraft including Boeing 747. Ai currently has 12 direct international routes.

Currently, there are two routes to choose from when traveling to Estonia:

1. Transfer via Moscow: First take China Civil Aviation or other flights to Moscow, and then transfer to Tallinn, Estonia. The inconvenience of this route is that you have to leave the airport and stay for one day, so you must apply for a Russian transit visa.

2. Transfer via Helsinki: Take Finnair to depart at noon and arrive in Helsinki at around 3 p.m. (due to the time difference). After waiting at the airport for more than an hour, I transferred to a small plane to Tallinn and arrived at my destination 40 minutes later. The convenience of this route is that it can arrive within half a day without leaving the airport. The itinerary is continuous and complete, saving time and energy, and eliminating the trouble of moving luggage around.

Aviation

There are no direct flights from Estonia to China. The closest country to Estonia is Helsinki, Finland. Can be transferred via Helsinki. For low-cost routes, you can choose Easyjet airlines' routes from Tallinn to Berlin and London.

There are night trains that alternate every night between St. Petersburg and Tallinn (2/3 class carriage 370/196 Estonian kronor, 8 hours). There is a night train from Moscow to Tallinn every night (2/3 class carriage 690/490 Estonian kronor, 15 hours).

Waterway

Tallinn and Helsinki face each other across the sea, with a straight-line distance of only more than 80 kilometers. It takes less than two hours to get to Tallinn from Helsinki by speedboat. It takes 6 hours to travel by train to St. Petersburg, Russia, and 14 hours to Moscow.

Bus***

Long-distance buses are the cheapest but least comfortable way to get to the Baltic countries. All domestic and international long-distance buses arrive at/leave Tallinn's central bus station (Autobussijaam). Eurolines has an office in the bus station and operates direct buses to and from Tallinn every day from several stations in Germany. There are also direct buses connecting Tallinn to Riga in Latvia and Vilnius in Lithuania.

Long-distance buses from Tallinn to St. Petersburg in Russia run five times a day. There is also a daily long-distance bus from Tallinn to Kaliningrad.

Cars and Motorcycles

Starting from Finland, just put your car on the Helsinki to Tallinn ferry.
