The Historical Evolution of Guishan Town

Guishan is a famous Buddhist mountain in eastern Yunnan, a "national forest park" and one of the holy places of revolutionary history and culture. During the War of Liberation, the commander of "Bianzong", Zhu, led the Bianzong detachment to carry out guerrilla warfare against bandits and tyrants in Guishan and Nuodou, Guishan Town, and made positive contributions to the overall liberation of Yunnan. At present, part of the ashes of revolutionary ancestor Zhu are buried in Guishan, and a revolutionary historical monument has been built. The Guerrilla Song of Kameyama, which was created in this period, became a household name, which provided convenient conditions for the development of "red tourism". Nuohei Village in Guishan Town has well-preserved stone houses and ancient folk traditions, and is known as the Shi Cun of Shilin and the living fossil of folk culture.
