1. Pay attention to the title: Taoists should be addressed as "Taoist Master" , "Master", etc., should not be directly called "monk", "Taoist", etc. Even if there are insulting titles, they should not be called "aunt", "grandma", etc.
2. Pay attention to etiquette: the common way to salute when meeting a Taoist is to hold hands with each other, hold the left hand with the right hand and raise it to the chest, lower the head slightly (i.e., cup the hands in salute) to show respect, avoid shaking hands, hugging, and touching The Taoist's first-class improper etiquette.
3. Pay attention to your conversation: When talking to a Taoist, you should not mention your age and birth date, nor mention marriage matters, nor make obscene remarks, so as not to arouse the Taoist's resentment.
4. Pay attention to customs: When Taoists are eating, chanting sutras, and meditating, tourists should not disturb them. As Taoists, they are not allowed to rise in response to the call, because Taoism has the taboo of "three things you can't do."
5. Pay attention to your behavior: Do not make loud noises, point out discussions, ridicule, or disturb the temple's offerings and statues. In particular, it is forbidden to touch or point at the statues. If you encounter Taoist activities, you should stand silently or quietly leave.

Accommodation:
There are many hotels (slightly high-end) on Silver Street at the foot of Wudang Mountain Scenic Area. Qiongtai and Nanyan are also places with a lot of accommodation (prices are relatively affordable). There is only one hotel in Jinding, Jinding VIP Building. If you want to watch the sunrise the next day but don’t want to get up early in the morning and climb the mountain to Jinding, then staying in the VIP Building is the best choice. It's just that the price of the VIP building is a little more expensive. The tent room we stayed in Jinding cost 200 yuan a night.
Tour routes:
There are roughly two routes to Wudang Mountain:
① Take a bus at the tourist service center of the scenic spot to Nanyan, and hike from Nanyan to Jin (it takes about 3 hours), then walk from Jinding to Qiongtai, and then take a bus from Qiongtai back to the tourist service center;
②
Take a bus from the tourist service center To Qiongtai Zhongguan, take the cable car from Qiongtai to Jinding (it takes about 2 hours to walk). After visiting Jinding, you can walk down the mountain to Nanyan, and then take a bus from Nanyan back to the gate of the scenic spot.

Visiting instructions:
You can ride for free in the scenic area. The mountain road is a bit steep, so remember to fasten your seat belts; Wudang Mountain is very large and has many small attractions. You can choose according to your personal strength and route. Make arrangements
Qiongtai Zhongguan is the location of Wudang Mountain Cableway, and Taizi Slope is a transfer station of Wudang Mountain;
Golden Summit is located on the top of Tianzhu Peak, the highest peak of Wudang Mountain. A must-visit place when visiting Wudang Mountain. The Golden Palace on the Golden Summit is the essence and symbol of the entire Wudang Mountain architecture;
The cliff-hanging palace Nanyan Palace is also a must-visit place in Wudang Mountain. The dragon head in Nanyan Palace is very fragrant. Worth seeing;
The Wudang Mountain ticket does not include the Zixiao Palace. I personally think that the Zixiao Palace is not a must-see place, but it still depends on personal choice;
Enter the Wudang Mountain Scenic Area , if you don’t go out to the scenic spot for a few days, it’s no problem. If you leave the scenic area, it seems that you need to pay extra for the second time you enter the mountain. Therefore, if you want to visit for a few more days, it is recommended to stay in the mountains. Firstly, it saves trouble, and secondly, it is convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset;
The best place to watch the sunrise and sunset in Wudang Mountain is the Golden Summit. It was April when we went, and the sunrise time was about 5:50; the temperature difference on the mountain is large, so remember to have a spare jacket; if the weather is good during the day, it will be sunny, and girls should wear sun protection;
Climbing the mountain During the process, there may be mountain pickers asking tourists for money. They can give it if they want to, but it doesn’t matter if they don’t want to;
In Wudang Mountain, crows are a symbol of auspiciousness;
In Jin Don’t take pictures of the Buddha statues when you climb up;
It’s understandable that prices on the mountains in the scenic area are high, as scenic spots across the country are similar. Cucumbers on the mountain cost three for ten yuan, and tomatoes cost two or three for ten yuan. For meals, a vegetarian meal costs twenty or thirty yuan.
