Equipment required:

Emei Mountain is well developed and does not need special mountaineering equipment.

1, as far as clothes are concerned, at Jinding at an altitude of 3077 meters, you usually only need to bring a thick coat to keep out the cold. It doesn't matter if you don't have it. When you go to Dong Leiping, you can rent cotton-padded clothes everywhere. It often rains in Emei Mountain, so it is necessary to bring a raincoat or jacket. Besides, unless you love cleaning, you don't need to bring a change of clothes, and there is no place to bathe you in the mountains.

2. Shoes. If you have good shoes, put them on. In fact, ordinary sports shoes and even cloth shoes can be used. As long as you don't wear leather shoes to climb the mountain, it's nothing more than different comfort, and the road is still very easy.

Generally speaking, medicine, food and drinking water are not necessary. It is really necessary to bring it. Climbing mountains is easy to get tired, so just bring some sugar. However, you need to bring a kettle to drink water. If you find it troublesome to bring a kettle, bring a bottle of mineral water with better quality. Don't throw away the bottle after drinking. Going up the mountain is useful.

I want to buy a crutch after entering the mountain, but it doesn't need to be expensive and beautiful. As long as it works, 4 yuan each will do. It is mainly used to climb mountains to raise monkeys and drive them away. As for whether to bring some food to the monkey, it depends, but you don't need to bring too much, because the monkey will rob you.

5. If you plan to walk at night, you must bring a flashlight. But generally you don't need to walk at night.

Some introductions:

1, in terms of accommodation, there are many temples and farmhouses on Mount Emei, so you can live in them. Almost all large and small temples have prepared guest rooms. Besides, there are many farmhouses in Qingyinge, Xixiangchi Scenic Area, Dongleiping and Jinding hotels, so as long as you calculate your destination according to your own speed and mileage, you don't have to trust those who tell you that there is no place to live. Just let go of your legs and climb. However, if you want to live in a temple, you'd better live in a large-scale temple. As small as a temple, the accommodation conditions in the temple are very poor, and the toilet is even more terrible. Generally, the temples you can choose are: Yin Qing Pavilion, Xixin Pavilion, Huayanding, Xixiangchi Scenic Area, Jinding Wo Yun Temple, Xianfeng Temple and Hongchunping. As for the farmhouse, I personally think it is similar to a better temple house, and the price is a little more expensive, so unless the big temple is full, I suggest staying at the temple farmhouse. The accommodation price of monasteries and farmhouses ranges from 10 yuan to 30 yuan, and a double room 160 yuan and a 60 yuan. The price gap is still quite large, but only a few temples are more expensive. Except for Jinding Woyun 'an, they are mainly concentrated on the route from Xixiangchi Scenic Area to Qingyinge via Hongchunping, probably because there is no temple near Wannian Temple to Xixiangchi Scenic Area. Moreover, those monasteries also have cheaper rooms, which are basically a bed in 25 yuan. On Mount Emei, in addition to Jinding Hotel, temples and private hotels only have beds, no bathrooms, and toilets are also common. I have to mention Jinding's accommodation here. If it's off-season, it's ok. If you just catch up with the peak season and arrive at Jinding, then accommodation is a very headache. During the peak season, Woyun 'an won't raise the price, but from the berth in 10 yuan to the new double room in 160 yuan, there is no room in 10 in the morning. There are also many private hotels around Jinding, including a three-star hotel, but the price is outrageous, ranging from 400 yuan to 1600 yuan. Among those private hotels, the worst double room (with only two beds) is also 180 yuan, with no discount. I went in the peak season, so I don't know what the off-season is like, but I heard that 70 yuan in the off-season can book a quadruple room in a private hotel.

2, eating: 7 am to 7: 30 am is the time for eating in the temple. The lunch time in the temple is between 1 1 and 1 1: 30 in the afternoon. As long as you catch up with the time, you can eat vegetarian food in the temple. Although vegetarian food is not necessarily cheap, there is no meat (nonsense), but one advantage is that you can eat it yourself, and it is not enough to add rice to your stomach. At that time, I ate in the temple every day, with four bowls for each meal. After all, I'm hungry after climbing the mountain. But it's best not to waste leftovers when eating in temples. The price of vegetarian food in each temple is different. Generally speaking, except for Woyun 'an in Jinding, the route from Xixiangchi Scenic Area to Qingyinge via Hongchunping is more expensive, and the route from Wannian Temple to Xixiangchi Scenic Area is much cheaper, ranging from 4 yuan to 8 yuan, and the more expensive it is, the more expensive it is. But there's nothing I can do. Everything here has to be picked by mountaineers, from food to spices, and it is difficult to walk from Xixiangchi Scenic Area to Qingyin Pavilion via Hongchunping, so it is understandable. In addition to temples, there are some food stalls on the roadside from time to time, and the price is not expensive. Most of them are from 3 yuan to 5 yuan, and the most expensive one on the menu is 10 yuan. The price here is uniform, so it doesn't matter where you go. In addition, the amount of food is relatively abundant, but in the context of mountain climbing, those amounts are too small. When I arrived in peacetime, there were many private restaurants there. If you think climbing the mountain is too hard and want to treat yourself, you can go there to eat. Cooking there will be more expensive, and flour and noodles will be cheaper, but most of them don't want to cook.

3. Drink water: This is the reason for bringing a kettle or bottle. If you buy bottled water to drink in the mountains, it costs 3 to 5 yuan, but if you have your own bottle, you can fill it up in the boiling water room of the temple when you pass by. However, only large monasteries generally have boiling water rooms, such as Hongchunping, Xixiangchi Scenic Area and Woyun 'an in Jinding. Small monasteries use cauldrons to boil water in the kitchen, so it's a little inconvenient to ask them for water. Some will give it to you, some will give it to you but ask for money, and some will not give it directly. However, except temples, most roadside stalls can be irrigated. You can ask them if they have tea or soybean milk. Tea in general mineral water bottles is 1 yuan, and soybean milk is two yuan. Some people can fill a pot of water for fifty cents. I've never tried it. In some places, it is more expensive, and it has to be doubled, mainly focusing on the lines with high food and accommodation prices. But anyway, it's better than buying water. The first time I went to climb a mountain, I was stupid enough to buy six bottles of water from the foot of the mountain to carry on my back. I am very tired, but I haven't bought a bottle of water from the foot of the mountain.

Some experiences:

1, If you are like me, unfortunately you went to Mount Emei in the peak season, climbed to the Golden Gate to resist it, and then found that there was no place to live when you watched the sunrise the next day. Don't worry, enjoy the scenery on the Golden Gate, visit Huazang Temple, then go to the Snake Cliff to see if you can see the Buddha's Light, and then wait until 5 o'clock to start downhill. Of course, this is not to tell you to give up watching the sunrise, but to go down 2.5 kilometers to Taiziping, where there is a small temple. The conditions are really bad, but it is cheap at all. One bed 15 yuan to 20 yuan, one room in 60 yuan, no price increase in peak season. Secondly, people are generally dissatisfied with living here. Most people go to Jinding by cable car, and climbers want to live on Jinding. Many people turn a blind eye to this. In addition to this temple, there are several private hotels here, which are more expensive. I haven't seen the conditions and I don't know. The only disadvantage of living here is that you have to get up at five o'clock in the morning and start climbing the Jinding at half past five. But it doesn't matter. When I woke up, I left my luggage in the monk's room, went into battle lightly, and climbed five miles on the moonlit mountain road. Besides, you will feel relaxed and arrive before you know it. But unless you have a flashlight, you'd better keep company with people when you walk at night, not because you are afraid of people, but because Emei Mountain is rich in animal resources.

2. The golden dome is really cold in the morning. I can't stand wearing long sleeves. Therefore, you must have warm clothes. If not, you can rent cotton-padded clothes there. When you go to Jieyin Temple, you can see that there are rents, but you don't have to rent them there, or you will have to carry 6 kilometers on your back and get off 6 kilometers. Prince Ping can also rent a military coat, and so can Jinding. You'd better rent wherever you live and return it directly after use, without taking it. Uniform price for all places renting cotton-padded clothes 10 yuan.

3. Monkeys are a great sight of Mount Emei. Monkeys don't usually invade you. When I climbed Mount Emei, I passed monkeys on the mountain road several times, but they ignored me. But that doesn't mean they won't pose any threat to you, so you should know some taboos when dealing with monkeys. First, you should bring a crutch. Monkeys are afraid of that thing, as long as they don't annoy you. If there is such a trend, you can raise a crutch to scare the monkeys, and the monkeys will step back, but don't really hit them. Don't hold food, water bottles and plastic bags in your hand, monkeys will snatch them away. So it's best to put everything in your backpack and take it out where there are no monkeys when necessary. Don't touch the monkey's head, especially the little monkey, or you will be at your own risk. I don't know. If you are brave enough, try it yourself. If you want to photograph monkeys, you'd better be in a place with many tourists, or with managers or monks. There have been incidents of monkeys grabbing cameras before, so it is better to pay attention to safety. If you want to feed the monkeys, you'd better not take some out of a bag to feed them, so they will often rob the bag in your hand. So take a little in your hand, feed it all directly if you want, forget it after feeding, don't put it in your backpack or clothes pocket, let them see it, carefully turn your attention to your backpack or clothes pocket, and they are absolutely capable of tearing it for you. In addition, monkeys met in the mountains can be fed free of charge, but monkeys in the ecological monkey area of plank road in Heilongjiang are not allowed to feed with their own food, so they should buy monkey food.

4. There is generally no TV and activities after check-in every night. Try to go to bed early and keep your mental state. It is recommended to use two pots of boiling water before going to bed, and one pot is used to soak your feet, which can effectively relieve mountaineering fatigue. The other pot is reserved for washing the next morning. Because there are too few water pipes in the accommodation, the water is still a little cold. If you want to go to Jinding to watch the sunrise, you will know the benefits of preparing water in advance when you meet someone else occupying the water pipe while washing.

Cost:

1, all tickets 120 yuan, student tickets for 60 yuan. You can choose whether to print photos on the ticket. Theoretically, if you print photos, the ticket is valid for two days. You can go out and into the mountains in two days. Of course, if you don't come out of the mountain, no one will care how long you stay in it. Anyway, printing is free, and printing is just as well. 6 yuan in Guobao Temple, 8 yuan in Wannian Temple, Huazang Temple 10 yuan in Jinding, 4 yuan in Khufu Temple. No student tickets. Tickets are not needed in other places.

2. Accommodation near the foreign temple in Shanwai is generally concentrated in those hotels on the road. Never mind their price, just make a counter-offer. Generally, you can get a standard room without air conditioning around 80 yuan, but the peak season here is very tense, so I have been telling you that you can't live without a room. And be careful of the agents here. They always want to bring you in and get kickbacks. I don't know the off-season price. However, if you still feel expensive, you can go to the gate of Guobao Temple and turn right. The map shows that this is a village with high prices. In fact, there are also some hotels there. The price of the same room is cheaper than that of the roadside in front, and 20 yuan is clean and comfortable. Some raiders said that the Emei campus of Southwest Jiaotong University can also live, but I didn't find a place to live, so I don't know.

3. Fares, from Chengdu Xinnanmen Station to Emei Mountain Passenger Transport Center next to Xiaguobao Temple, 35 yuan, from Emei Mountain Passenger Transport Center to Wuxiangang Parking Lot, 9 yuan, from Emei Mountain Passenger Transport Center to Wannian Parking Lot, 1 1 yuan, from Emei Mountain Passenger Transport Center to flat parking lot, and 30 yuan. In addition, there are some bus prices, from Guobao Temple to Emei Mountain City, take bus No.5 (from downtown to Khufu Temple), 1 yuan, and the bus in Emei Mountain City costs 50 points, but it costs 1 yuan at night. If you are unlucky in Emei Mountain, you should take the 1 bus at the passenger center instead of the passenger center at the foot of Emei Mountain, and then take the No.5 bus to the Guobao Temple in the city. Generally speaking, from Leshan Port or Leshan Passenger Transport Center behind Leshan to Emei Mountain, we all go to Emei Passenger Transport Center. If you go to Emei Mountain from Chengdu, other passenger transport centers will also go to Emei Mountain except Xinnanmen Tourist Passenger Transport Center, which should be noted.

If you start from Chengdu, all the tickets add up to 148 yuan, the bus ticket needs 80 yuan, and the train ticket 22 yuan stays in 30 yuan every day, staying in 60 yuan for two nights, eating 20 yuan every day and 60 yuan for three days. Generally speaking, even in the peak season, if you don't go to FB, 350 yuan can usually spend three days on Mount Emei.
