Miaodao Mazu Cultural Park

Miaodao Xianying Palace is located in the northeast of Miaodao, 2.5 nautical miles away from Changdao County, covering an area of 90 mu. Founded in the 4th year of Song Zongwei's Xuanhe (A.D. 1 122), it is the earliest and most famous Mazu Tempel in northern China, and the fishermen in Long Island have been honored as the "Goddess of the Sea" for generations. In the first year of Emperor Zongzhen of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Chongzhen gave a royal gift to the "Mingying Palace" in the temple.
