Yan Guan is a huge underground river cave on the east bank of Lijiang River. Named after the mountain looks like a purple and gold crown. As early as A.D. 1637, Xu Xiake came here and became the first celebrity to explore caves in Yan Guan. The crown rock is divided into three layers, and the upper two layers are dry caves with various stalactites hanging, which are magnificent. The lower floor is an underground river, about 700 meters long. The river is clear and loud. You can visit Yan Guan by tram, small wooden boat and sightseeing elevator, which is the only cave in Guilin that can be reached by land, sea and air. Yan Guan is an underground cave with thousands of years of human history.
