1. Route recommendation

Route 1: Enter from the south gate of Yuelu Mountain.

Take a bus to Dongfanghong Square, enter from the south gate of Yuelu Mountain, and pass by Yuelu Academy - Aiwan Pavilion - Buddhist Pagoda - Guloushan Temple - Sightseeing Corridor, Ancient Fort - Birdsong Forest ——Yunlu Palace——Sichuan Shipo Lake——Hanyang Memorial Cemetery for Aiding Hubei in 1911——East Gate of Yuelu Mountain.

On the way, you will also pass a series of scenic spots such as Banshan Pavilion, Baihe Spring, Huangxing Tomb, Feishi, and Yinxin Stone House. This route is characterized by comprehensive tourist attractions, no turning back, and easy access from the south gate.

Route 2: Enter from the east gate of Yuelu Mountain.

Enter by car from the east gate of Yuelu Mountain. If you don’t drive yourself, you have three options after entering: first, take the cable car up the mountain; second, take a sightseeing bus to visit the mountain; third, walk up the mountain.

From then on, we walked up the mountain. The road was not very steep, but relatively flat, and there were many people walking on the road. If you have nothing to do, it will take up to half a day from here to the top of the mountain, and then go down to the south gate. This is a great route to get some exercise and enjoy the views.

After arriving at the south gate, if you want to see the Aiwan Pavilion, you need to go up the mountain, pass by Yuelu Academy, then go to the Aiwan Pavilion, and then go down the mountain.

4. Charges

Gate: Free

Ropeway: maximum 30 yuan, minimum 25 yuan, round trip 50 yuan. Half ticket for primary and secondary school students.

Sightseeing bus: 30 for the up trip, 25 for the down trip, 50 for the whole trip.

Slide: up: 30 yuan; down: 35 yuan; full ride: 45 yuan.

Yuelu Academy: 40 yuan/person. Student ID is half price.
