Where is Pingzhai Village located?

Pingzhai Village is located 10 kilometers northwest of the town government and has jurisdiction over six natural villages: Pingzhai, Guilu Creek, Liliu, Diyou, Guiyin Creek and Gaoguilu. The village committee is located in Pingzhai, 460 meters above sea level. There are 309 households and 1,348 people inhabited by the Dong and Shui people, of which the Dong people account for more than 69% of the total population. The 676 acres of cultivated land (617 acres of fields and 59 acres of soil) are mainly used for planting rice, but also produce wheat, cereals, soybeans, sweet potatoes, etc.; cash crops include cotton, rape, kenaf, jute, watermelon, etc. Animal husbandry is mainly based on raising pigs and cattle, but also goats. The forest road runs from the south of Pingzhai to Qiaohai and connects with Lurong Highway, which is accessible to vehicles.

Pingzhai Village is adjacent to Pingyong Community, Pingyou Village, Mazhai Village, Qiaohai Village, Wupo Village and Longtang Village.

Near Pingzhai Village are tourist attractions such as Rongjiang Miaoshan Dong Water Scenic Area, Rongjiang Ancient Banyan Scenic Area, Rongjiang Martyrs Cemetery, Seventy-two Dong Villages, Sanbao Qianhu Dong Village, and Xili Specialties such as tribute rice, Rongjiang kudzu root, Tapshi fragrant sheep, Rongjiang small fragrant chicken, Rongjiang roll noodles and so on.
