Fuzhou tourist route planning suggestions

Fuzhou is a good place to travel in summer. Recommendation reason: Chunguang Village is located on the bank of Dazhang River in Yongtai. There are nearly 20 old banyan trees and two elm trees over 500 years old on the shore, forming a unique landscape, no less than the Yunshui Ballad in Nanjing, Zhangzhou. In addition, Songkou is a thousand-year-old ancient town with more than 100 ancient residential buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Wood carvings, stone carvings, brick carvings, clay sculptures and murals can be seen everywhere.

2. Recommended route: Guling-Gushan-Lunch-Mawei Luoxing Pagoda-China Shipping Culture Museum-Majiang Naval Battle Memorial Hall-Yushan White Pagoda-Wushan Five Pagodas-Dinner-Three Lanes and Seven Alleys.

Reason for recommendation: This route covers some representative scenic spots in Fuzhou. It may not be attractive to ordinary Fuzhou people, but it is very suitable for migrant workers and children. In addition, some elderly, weak, disabled and lonely residents are out of town and may not have been to Gushan, Guling and Mawei for a long time. It’s quite appropriate to organize them to play.

3. Recommended route: Wuyi Square - Yushan Scenic Area (Qigong Temple, Baita Temple, "Fujian Incident" Memorial Hall, Yu Dafu Memorial Hall) - Fuzhou Confucian Temple - Wushan Historical Scenic Area (Daoshan Pavilion, Lu Ancestral Palace, Wuta Park) - Lunch (Tongli Rouyan, Lianjiang Fish Ball Potside Shop or Shangqian Snack Shop on Macao Road) - Lin Zexu Memorial Hall - Three Lanes and Seven Alleys.

Reason for recommendation: Yushan has a quiet environment and many historical sites. Wushan has dense forests and cliff carvings that fully reflect the history of the famous mountain. You can enjoy flowers every spring.

In the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, you can feel the great achievements of the "Great Man of Zuo Hai". Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is known as the "Museum of Ancient Architecture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties" and the "Former Residences of Modern Celebrities". There are also various Fuzhou traditional handicrafts and snacks on Nanhou Street. You can experience the cultural characteristics of Fuzhou throughout the journey.

4. Recommended route: One-day trip to Tunxi, Yongtai, and Chibi (Tianmen Mountain).

Reason for recommendation: It only takes 60 minutes to drive from the city to Yongtai Juxi. The stream here is beautiful and suitable for leisure and small gatherings. Chibi is suitable for tourists to climb mountains, walk in the forest, watch streams and waterfalls, and have fitness gatherings. Tianmen Mountain has beautiful scenery and is suitable for medium to large gatherings.
