Can I use UnionPay cards in Russia?

All four major banks in Russia have opened UnionPay card business, and UnionPay mobile phone flash payment can be used at POS terminals of 200,000 merchants in Russia, including supermarket chain Azbuka Vkusa, electrical appliance store Media Markt and local KFC and McDonald's.

Many merchants in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and so on offer exclusive discount for UnionPay cards. These businesses include airport duty-free shops, hotels, restaurants, amusement facilities, egg museums, and museums in Arbat Street, a tourist street in Moscow. For example, in Pushkin Cafe, one of the 25 best restaurants in Europe, you can enjoy an exclusive discount of 15%.
