Suzhou one-day tour guide
As the saying goes, "There is heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below", Suzhou was called Wu in ancient times. Also known as Gusu and Pingjiang.
. As a native tourism professional, I would like to recommend some scenic spots and cultural customs in Sioux City today, so that we can save more time to do our own strategies and spend more time on sightseeing and entertainment. Let's provide food for everyone.
1, railway station
Suzhou Railway Station is generally the first destination for tourists. Unlike railway stations in other places, Suzhou Railway Station is very distinctive. The main impression of its design is that it is a diamond, square and round world with white walls and tiles composed of various geometric lines. The artistic wall of "people sleeping on the river" and "garden image" in the station hall highlights the urban characteristics of Suzhou. Many statues of Suzhou celebrities have been set up in the South Square. Out of the south square, it is the restored Suzhou city wall and enters Suzhou.
2. North Temple Tower
Beisi Pagoda is a pavilion-like pagoda in China, which is known as "the first ancient temple in Wuzhong" and was built in the Three Kingdoms period. According to legend, it was built by Sun Quan to repay his kindness, hence the name Gratitude Tower. The North Temple Tower is 76 meters high and has nine octagonal floors, which is the highest in the south of the Yangtze River. Climbing up can overlook the whole city. Around the tower, there are still some Hongji Palace buildings rebuilt in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The height limit of buildings in the ancient city of Suzhou, the highest building in the ancient city area shall not exceed 24 meters. The North Temple Tower is 76 meters high. If you want to experience the feeling of seeing Sioux City at a glance, you must go and see it.
3. Museums
About 1.5km east from the North Temple Tower, you can reach Suzhou Museum. Personally, I suggest going straight. Suzhou Museum is the masterpiece of China architect I.M. Pei. It is a comprehensive museum integrating modern architecture, ancient architecture and innovative landscape gardens. Its collection is rich, and some activities are held regularly for free visits. The Loyalty Palace in Taiping Heavenly Kingdom is connected with the museum. Zhongyi Palace is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and historical buildings of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in China. Friendly reminder: don't bring drinks in.
4. Humble Administrator's Garden
Humble Administrator's Garden is a masterpiece of Suzhou gardens and a classic of Jiangnan classical gardens. Visiting Suzhou gardens is the first place to promote Humble Administrator's Garden. The whole park is centered on water, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with pavilions, lush flowers and trees, and has strong characteristics of Jiangnan water town. Friendly reminder: 1, buy a ticket or go to the ticket office. 2. If there are few people, you can rent a tour guide machine. If there are many people, there are many beautiful tour guides across the street. The price can be negotiated.
5. Lion Forest
Humble Administrator's Garden is next to Lion Forest, and the bus stops are the same. Lion Grove is only a few hundred meters away from Humble Administrator's Garden. I prefer the Lion Forest. I have been there about ten times. Lion Forest is a masterpiece of Yuan Dynasty gardens, and it is one of the most tortuous and complicated examples of overlapping mountains in China classical gardens. Many people spend time drilling fake holes in the lion forest, which is also quite interesting. As for the introduction of scenic spots and historical allusions, I'd better go in and dig them myself. Friendly reminder: 1, buy a ticket or go to the ticket office. 2. If there are few people, you can rent a tour guide machine. If there are many people, there are many beautiful tour guides across the street. The price can be negotiated.
note:
1, Suzhou's public transportation is excellent, and buses, subways, taxis and tourist lines can infinitely improve your travel efficiency. Of course, you can also take Didi, Cao Cao and other special cars and try not to drive.
2. The law and order in Suzhou is good. Every tourist attraction has a police station. You can go to the police station for help if you have difficulties.
3, the above is just the corner of Suzhou, personally recommend the route, do not spray if you don't like it.
