The Party School of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee was founded in June 1952, formerly known as the Party School of the Southwest Bureau of the Central Committee. Sichuan Administration College was established in April 1997. In June, 20001year, the provincial party committee and government decided to merge the Party School of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Sichuan Administration College. There are 36 internal institutions such as office, academic affairs office and scientific research office, with 586 employees. There are 34 experts and professors with full senior titles, 83 with deputy senior titles 1 10, 83 with intermediate titles, 7 experts enjoying special government allowance from the state council, 7 provincial academic and technical leaders, 3 provincial experts with outstanding contributions, 5 provincial academic and technical leaders as reserve candidates, 6 members of the expert review committee, 28 doctoral students and 63 master students with full senior and deputy senior titles. The school is located in the scenic and cultural area of Du Fu Caotang, covering an area of 270 mu. It is one of the "400 Best Greening Units in China" commended by the National Greening Committee.

This school is a master's degree awarding unit authorized by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, and it is the earliest provincial party school in the national party school system with the right to award master's degrees. At present, it has the right to award master's degrees in six majors, including Marxist philosophy, China's * * Party history, political economy, scientific socialism and * * * capitalist movement, the study of Marxism in China, and regional economics, with more than 20 graduate students/kloc-0. This school is also the first provincial party school to join the satellite distance education network of the National Party School. It has a large-scale comprehensive theoretical publication, Theory and Reform, which is publicly released at home and abroad. It has been rated as the national Chinese core journal and selected as the source journal of China Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI). At the same time, there are newspapers and periodicals such as Journal of Party School of Sichuan Provincial Committee, Journal of Sichuan Administration College and Sichuan Party School Newspaper which are approved by the State Press and Publication Administration and distributed nationwide. The construction of digital library has developed rapidly, with more than 550,000 books, more than 70,000 Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals, 6.5438+0.2 million e-books and 6.5438+0.7 databases. All the collection resources are digitized, and it was rated as "excellent library" in the evaluation of digital library construction of national party schools in 2005.

After the construction and development during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, a new five-in-one school-running pattern focusing on rotation training of party and government leading cadres, degree and postgraduate education, general higher vocational education, correspondence education in party schools, and ability and quality education was initially formed. In accordance with the requirements of "open organization, multi-disciplinary progress and in-depth exploration" put forward by the provincial party Committee, new breakthroughs have been made in scientific research and masterpieces. Since only 1989, more than 600 monographs and teaching materials have been edited, independently written and co-authored, of which more than 490 are published publicly and more than 20 are published internally. More than 2,200 papers have been published in journals above the provincial level, 29 national projects have been approved, and 4 provincial and ministerial projects have been awarded above the provincial level1/kloc-0. These scientific research achievements have high theoretical value and application value, and have a great social impact. They have played a good role in promoting the economic and social development of Sichuan province and improving the teaching quality of colleges and universities, and provided consulting services for the decision-making of the provincial party Committee and the provincial government.

Vigorously strengthen the information construction, and realize the interconnection of satellite distance education network, Sichuan cadre education network, campus intranet, campus wireless broadband network, campus monitoring network, global development learning network, Sichuan party and government network, campus closed-circuit television network, etc. And realize the optical fiber interconnection with 2 1 city (state) party school, and establish Shuguang website, electronic reading room, computer laboratory, financial securities laboratory and language teaching room.

Foreign exchanges and cooperation have been continuously strengthened, and cooperation and exchange relations have been established with the United States, Canada, France, Germany, South Korea, Australia, Central Africa and other countries and relevant institutions in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In 2004, the school officially joined the International Association of Schools of Administration and Universities. Co-organized six Sino-American seminars with Karl Vinson Institute of Government of the University of Georgia, and participated in the Sino-Canadian environmental protection and sustainable development project led by the Central Party School. Organized 488 overseas training and study tours and received 372 foreign tourists.

Sichuan Management Vocational College, which belongs to this school, was established on the basis of Sichuan Institute of Administration, Finance and Trade Management with the approval of the provincial government in 2005. It is an ordinary institution of higher learning that mainly implements full-time higher vocational education. The college is sponsored by the Party School of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Sichuan Administration College, and guided and managed by the Provincial Department of Education. The college has more than 30 majors, including public management, secretarial archives, finance and taxation, business administration, accounting statistics, computer science and engineering, tourism economic management and urban management. It has teaching facilities such as electronic reading room, network laboratory, voice laboratory and accounting simulation laboratory. Now the number of students has reached more than 5,000, and the employment rate of graduates over the years is 88-90%. The influence of running a college is expanding day by day, and it has become Sichuan Province. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, our school has made great efforts to become a national first-class provincial party school and administrative college at a new starting point, achieving the goal of "eight firsts", namely, "first-class teaching quality, first-class scientific research products, first-class advantageous disciplines, first-class teaching staff, first-class teaching facilities, first-class information construction, first-class scientific management and first-class educational environment", and has made great efforts to build our school into a "third-class" in Sichuan's cadre education and theoretical research.
