The public security and safety situation in Laos is relatively good, but there are occasional thefts and robberies. The medical conditions in Laos are poor, and dengue fever and malaria (transmitted through mosquitoes) are common during the rainy season from May to October. Material supplies in Laos are relatively scarce and prices are relatively expensive, but general daily necessities can be purchased in Laos.

Laos is a country where Buddhism is relatively prosperous. When we meet Lao people, we must perform Namaste (putting the fingers of both hands together and raising the palms). For elders, monks, royalty, superiors, etc., we should put our palms together in front of our foreheads; for juniors and people with lower status than us, we should put our palms under our chin; for ordinary people, we should just put our palms in front of our faces. Laos has a tropical or subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, divided into rainy season (May-October) and dry season (November-April). Generally speaking, Laos is very suitable for tourism, and it is easy to apply for a Laos visa.
