Old Town of Lijiang is known as the best-preserved ethnic ancient town in China, which refers to Dayan ancient town in a narrow sense and is the main part of Old Town of Lijiang. There are rows of Naxi-style houses in the town, and there are small and exquisite arch bridges in front of each house.

Across the Qingxi River, which runs through the city and lanes, rows of weeping willows are swaying in the breeze. The alleys paved with bluestone slabs are winding and criss-crossing, forming a unique highland water town style of "every household hangs a tree every spring".

2. Yulong Snow Mountain

As the sacred mountain revered by Naxi people, as the "three flowers" of Naxi people's protector, it is the embodiment of Yulong Snow Mountain. Every year on the eighth day of the second lunar month, Naxi people hold a grand event to celebrate the "Three Flowers Festival" and express their admiration for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the Three Gods.

3. Lugu Lake

Lugu Lake is a primitive lake far from the noise and not polluted by modern civilization. Mosuo people living by the lake still retain the traditional matriarchal social form. They live in a matriarchal family with women as the axis and live a primitive marriage life in Axia.

Similar to Dayan ancient town, Shuhe ancient town also has square street and five roads extending in all directions, which was once an important distribution center of Lijiang fur trade. Under the cold sky, a small wetland dam lake is divided into large and small inlets. From time to time, a large group of wintering waterfowl living in Lashihai can be seen flapping their wings or playing by the water.

The main scenic spots in Old Town of Lijiang are Sifang Street, Shogunate, Wufenglou, ancient city waterwheel, Baisha folk houses and other scenic spots.
