Fengmeiling Reservoir is located in Beishan Town, Changsha County.

"Fengmeiling", originally called "Fengmeiling", is located in Beishan Town, Changsha County, south of Heimi Peak in Changsha Forest Park. It is also called Fengmeiling because it is rich in green plums. The reservoir is not big, but it is particularly quiet in the embrace of mountains. The water quality of the reservoir is good, and it is close to Changsha city, so it is a good place for recreation.

Route 1: From Changsha to Wujialing, take Changxiang Highway and cross Laodao River-Pengjiaxiang-Tanmuling-Shaping-Beishan-Fengmeiling, with a one-way journey of about 3 kilometers.

road condition: the road condition of Pengjiaxiang near the urban area is poor, but fortunately it is not long. From Pengjiaxiang to Fengmeiling, the road surface is smooth and shady, which is a good cycling route.

Post Station: There is a "Hongdu Restaurant" in Beishan Town with good food, generally 1/ person; There is a local restaurant in the reservoir, which can be eaten by boat. If you can't remember to go in, the boatman's aunt will make it and send it out for you to enjoy!

Line 2: Changsha-Wujialing-Shijiapo-Jiansimao Farmhouse-Sujiatuo-Hanhui-Jinsha-Shaping.

road conditions: this route to shaping is mostly rural roads, and the cement pavement is very flat, and there are basically no cars.

Precautions:

Although the road from Pengjiaxiang to the reservoir on Line 1 is a county road, there are still many vehicles, so you should ride carefully;

Line 2 is a newly-built road, and there is basically no shade. Please pay attention to sun protection when riding in summer!
