The cause of geographic tongue is unknown. In children, it is related to indigestion, intestinal parasites, and vitamin B deficiency; in adults, it is related to the menstrual cycle, anemia, gastrointestinal dysfunction, mental and emotional instability, and excessive It is related to fatigue and focal infection; it may also be related to genetics.

Treatment: 1. Treatment of odontogenic and non-odontogenic infections.
