Hengshan county tourist attractions

Hengshan County is located in Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue and its vicinity, in the middle reaches of Xiangjiang River, and has the reputation of "Outstanding Five Mountains" and "Civilized Olympic Zone".

Zijinshan forest park

Zijinshan Forest Park is located in the southern suburb of Kaiyun Town, Hengshan County, with a total area of 840 hectares. It is one of the 72 peaks of Hengshan Mountain. 1992 has been designated as a provincial forest park with 45 natural and cultural attractions.

Guanxiangdao

Watching the sunset in Hunan is one of the eight scenic spots in Hengshan Mountain. Guanxiang Island floats in the middle of Xiangjiang River, surrounded by water, and is in line with Hengshan Xiangjiang Bridge and Zhangzhou Island downstream.

Jiuguanhu

Jiuguanhu Scenic Area is the first batch of agricultural tourism demonstration sites in Hunan Province. Located at Dianmen, adjacent to National Highway 107, 20km south of Hengyang City and 20km north of Hengshan Scenic Area.

Jiuguanhu Scenic Area, also called Jiuguanqiao Reservoir, is an artificial lake built by 1976 to intercept the Baigang water system, a tributary of Xiangjiang River. The lake covers an area of 38.93 square kilometers, with a storage capacity of 28.8 million cubic meters and an irrigated area of 95,000 mu. It is the largest reservoir in Hengshan County. After development and construction, it has become a comprehensive scenic spot integrating irrigation, power generation, tourism and leisure.

Mao Zejian Martyrs Cemetery

Mao Zejian, 1923, joined the China * * * production party and engaged in guerrilla struggles in Leiyang and Hengshan for a long time. 1928 was arrested in a battle in Leiyang, and 1929 was killed in Mawangmiaoping, Hengshan County at the age of 24. After Mao Zejian's sacrifice, the local people buried him secretly in Jinzifeng, facing the Xiangjiang River, with his back against one of the 72 peaks in Nanyue. 1967, a new martyrs cemetery was built on the right side of its original tomb. The whole mausoleum is made of granite and white marble. The whole cemetery covers an area of 5.29 mu and the tower is 8.2 meters high. 1972, the cemetery was listed as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit and became a patriotic education base for primary and middle school students in Hengshan County.

Peyo agriculture workers association former site

The former site of Peyo Agricultural Workers' Association, also known as Liu Jiesan, is located in Peyo Village, Baiguo Town. This is an ancient building in the Qing Dynasty. It faces south, with a civil structure and a blue tile roof. The whole building is zigzag, with a height of 7.7 meters and a building area of 402 square meters. The original building was burned down in 1923 when the agricultural movement was suppressed, and then it was rebuilt as it was in 1924. 199 1 To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Peyo Agriculture, Industry and Commerce Association, the county government allocated special funds for maintenance and renovation.

Former residence of Tang Qunying

Tang Qunying, the first female member of China League, went to alone twice and joined the revolution with Sun Yat-sen. She was a female general with two guns in the Revolution of 1911 and was awarded the second-class Golden Harvest Medal, the founder of the feminist movement in China. At the same time, she was also a famous female journalist, poet and educator in modern China. Comrade Kang Keqing called it "a generation of female souls". On the eve of the Fourth World Conference on Women, the central government named eight century-old China women, and Tang Qunying ranked fourth.

My bookstore is located in Huangni Village, xinqiao town, Hengshan County. It is the earliest building and the only remaining part of Sanjitang, the ancestral home of Tang Qunying.

Xuanzhou ancient town

Xuanzhou Town, located in the north of Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is a famous historical and cultural tourist town in Hengyang.
