Shapotou 1

Shapotou Scenic Area faces the majestic Fragrant Hills of Qilian Mountain in the south and Tengger Desert in the north. It rushes down in the middle, and a thousand miles of Yellow River passes through it. This kind of scenery is magnificent, with the vast Tengger Desert on one side and the endless Yellow River on the other. Since ancient times, many literati have left poems and articles here.

5. Rock paintings of Helan Mountain

The rock painting of Helan Mountain, located in Jinshan Township, Helan County, Yinchuan City, 1969 was discovered by a local barefoot doctor. These rock paintings were born about ten thousand years ago. They were painted and carved on rocks by ancient ancestors in the long years with realistic or abstract artistic techniques, and recorded all aspects of human social life in ancient Yinchuan.
