Shapotou 1

Shapotou Scenic Area faces the majestic Fragrant Hills of Qilian Mountain in the south and Tengger Desert in the north. 5. Rock paintings of Helan Mountain

The rock painting of Helan Mountain, located in Jinshan Township, Helan County, Yinchuan City, 1969 was discovered by a local barefoot doctor. These rock paintings were born about ten thousand years ago. They were painted and carved on rocks by ancient ancestors in the long years with realistic or abstract artistic techniques, and recorded all aspects of human social life in ancient Yinchuan.
