1. Caobin Park
Located in Caonan Village, Caocun Town, Ruian City, Caobin Park was completed on January 15, 2012. Caobin Park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and is spacious and atmospheric. It covers an area of ??20,000 square meters and has a total investment of more than 4.7 million yuan. It has facilities such as a bronze statue of Cao Bin, an antique archway, an antique moon-watching pavilion, a golf course, a green area, and a parking lot.
2. Meilong Creek
Meilong Creek in Xu'ao, Caocun Town, Ruian City is located at the foot of Xufeng Mountain (Shengjing Mountain). The mountain-shaped natural landscape here has a unique natural ecology. The environment is beautiful and unique.
Meilong River is divided into Zuolong River and Youlong River. It originates from the Xufengshan Mountains and flows from west to east into Tianjinglang in Caocun Town. Judging from the mountain shape, topography, and landforms, Zhushan Mountain, which flows into the south of the river system, appears here like two dragons grabbing pearls. It is an inspiration zone for ancient temples generated by natural terrain, and is the place where celebrities from all dynasties of Ruian City have appeared.
According to research statistics, there have been 82 Jinshi scholars here in history, and it has been approved by the state as the "No. 1 Village of Jinshi Scholars in China".
3. Mingjiao Temple
The Mingjiao Temple in Caocun Town was built in the Later Jin Dynasty and flourished in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. There is a pair of thick sedan frames stored in the attic of the "Sanbaotang" of Mingjiao Temple, which are precious cultural relics. It is made of precious river carp wood, one of which is engraved with: "The true king of the Xu Mansion of Shengjing Mingjiao Temple, Huicun, was presented to Zhang Cong in the second spring of the Wuzi year of Jiajing."
4. Xiyin Ancient Temple
Xiyin Ancient Temple is located at the foot of Shengjing Mountain, a branch of Xufeng Mountain in Caocun Town, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, which is the "No. 1 Village of Chinese Jinshi". It is backed by mountains and water. The environment is elegant, the humanities are gathered together, the literary style is popular, the people are outstanding, and eminent monks from all dynasties have emerged in large numbers.
The temple was first built in the 3rd year of Longqing in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. It was originally named "Xiyin'an" and followed the Hongtiantai teachings. During the Tongzhi and Guangxu years of the Qing Dynasty, there were two large-scale expansions. Zhaobi, Shanmen, Tianwang Hall, Mahavira Hall, and monks' residences have begun to take on the scale of a jungle, with dozens of resident monks.
However, due to the social turmoil in modern times, the war, the catastrophe of the Cultural Revolution, and many changes in the world, temples were destroyed and temple properties were occupied. Later, it was once used as Xiqian Primary School.
After the implementation of the national religious policy after 1979, local believers vigorously raised funds to redeem temple properties and repair monks' houses, and incense gradually flourished.
5. Shengjingshan Stone Hall
It is also known as Xu Gong Temple and Xu Mansion Zhenjun Hall. The mountain col located on the top of the Holy Well Mountain is entirely carved from stone to imitate wood structure. It is located in Caocun Town and Danan Township, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, with an altitude of 794 meters. Because there is a spring well in the middle of the stone temple in front of the throne, which never overflows or dries up all year round, the water level remains unchanged, and the spring water is clear and sweet, it is known as the "holy well", and the mountain is also named after the well (originally called Qinglong Spring).
All the components of the Shengjingshan Stone Hall are carved from stone, and the furnishings in the hall are also carved from stone. There is not an inch of wood or bricks in the whole hall. The temple was built in the first year of Jingding in the Southern Song Dynasty (1260), covering an area of ??410 square meters and a construction area of ??229 square meters.
