What are the triggers for flights in January and what are the pitfalls for return connecting flights?
There are currently reports of flight blowouts everywhere. It is getting harder and harder to return home now. In many places, the only option is to transfer when returning to China. However, you should also be careful when taking connecting flights. Some connecting flights may carry some risks.

Circuit breaker flights
Air China’s circuit breaker will last for ***8 weeks.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China has continuously announced that 788 positive passengers were detected on three Air China flights CA722 (Minsk to Hohhot) on December 12, 19, and 26. According to national regulations, CA722 has been continuously circuit breaker for six weeks starting from December 28. It has been announced as a flashpoint for three weeks in a row, and not a single one is left.
To make matters worse, Air China flight CA770 from Los Angeles to Shenzhen was also found to have problems and had to be delayed for two weeks.
A single company accounts for "half of the airlines" that experienced a month-long blowout, which is an embarrassing record.
Russia’s aviation sector has been decommissioned.
At the end of December, the Civil Aviation Administration announced that starting from January 4, Aeroflot’s EO429 flight (Moscow to Zhengzhou) will have a blowout for two weeks, while Aeroflot’s flight (Moscow to Shanghai) will Will have to rest for four weeks.
In addition, there is the Russian EFE flight F79531 (from St. Petersburg to Shenzhen) in "He is My Brother", which also departed on January 4 due to inspection.
I don’t know if it’s because of the big news or because I’m worried about the development of the epidemic in Russia. Now that all major charter flights have been grounded, the original return routes from Russia are suddenly very few.
Cairo flights were called up en masse.
Cairo has always been a transit base for Africa and the Middle East, because not only are there MS953 and MS958 of Ethiopian Airlines, but also 3U8392 of Sichuan Airlines. These three flights have placed the hopes of countless Chinese people in Africa.
Although Ethiopian Airlines and Sichuan Airlines both have their own meltdown records, no one expected that they would be collectively stewed in the same pot!
First, MS953 was grounded for 4 weeks starting from January 11, and then Sichuan Airlines 3U8392 was grounded for 2 weeks on the same day. The remaining single seedling, MS958, did not last long. According to the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission’s report on January 11, among the new overseas imported cases and new asymptomatic infections, 5 cases arrived in Guangzhou on January 8 via EgyptAir flight MS958 (Cairo-Guangzhou)! So MS958 must be a hammer that really wants to blow, but I don’t know when it will start. If it continues to be detected on flights these days, it may take longer to blow.
Ma Han stepped on the thunder in the air.
Among the many flights back home, whether it is a scheduled flight or a charter flight, Mahan Air is the best one. Because in addition to the basic requirement of double-negative testing, a negative requirement for IgG has also been added. If it’s not negative, you can’t board the plane! This has stopped many compatriots who were preparing to return from Africa and the Middle East and had already received traditional Chinese medicine vaccines. Oman Air, which has the same requirements, can be exempted from inspection with a vaccine certificate. But Malaysia Airlines never mentioned this.
Maybe it’s because the epidemic in Iran is really serious. Anyway, W5081 has been integrated for 2 weeks from January 11th to now. The above shows that he and Sichuan Airlines are brothers.
How to return to China
I believe the above circuit breaker news must have caused trouble to many compatriots. Here are some solutions for you:
Returning to Russia.
In this month’s headline news, Russia is definitely the “star protagonist.” ***Four airlines have merged and all Russian charter flights have been grounded. Can Russia come back?
At present, there is only one single seedling left in Russia, Air China CA910 (Moscow-Zhengzhou). According to the latest news, it is still flying normally and there are still tickets. I really have to go back to celebrate the New Year as soon as possible. If you can't buy a ticket for CA910, you will have to wait for Aeroflot to resume flights.
What if you want to leave Cairo?
The collective filming of the return flight from Egypt was really destructive. The base camp for the connecting flight was suddenly gone, causing many compatriots a headache. But in fact, there are still many options for returning to Ho.
In the near future, it is recommended to start from Turkey and transit through Türkiye! Turkey’s entry policy is not very strict (72-hour negative nucleic acid test certificate), electronic signatures are easy to apply for, and there are even direct flights to China (TK072). For example, starting from Tajikistan: TK255TK072 (Dushanbe-Istanbul-Guangzhou)
If Lufthansa is the departure, European routes are also a good choice, such as LH561 Luanda-Frankfurt/LH720 Frankfurt-Shenyang.
In addition, there are places such as Dubai and Oman, but the prices in these two places are relatively high. Compatriots with financial ability can consider it.
What should I do if Iran can’t fly?
Mahan Air blocks the way home for many Chinese from Central and Southeast Asia, but it can also connect via Turkey. Dushanbe is an example.
In addition, the important Uzbekistan has HY501 flight to choose from, and Oman Air also has a route back to Guangzhou. So a temporary trigger does not mean permanent.
What are the pitfalls of returning to China
1. Various minefields when returning from the UK
Now China and most countries in the world have cut off flights to the UK. Our compatriots in the UK have reached the end of their rope. It is rare that flights between several countries and the UK have resumed, but our embassy does not issue green codes of origin, so some compatriots are very creative and have their own tricks. Here’s what’s happening with people coming back from the UK:
1. Smuggling into the Schengen area for “transit”
Among the Schengen countries, France is the only one that has confirmed the resumption of flights with the UK. And there are countries with direct flights to China. Finland originally said it would resume air services, but temporarily extended the timetable. Several compatriots applied for Schengen visas in France, then entered Paris and flew back from Paris after being tested. When they applied for a green code, they regarded France as their place of origin (this is cheating, not good), and the result really allowed them to come back.
However, there is a condition for taking this route, that is, you must have a Schengen visa and be able to enter France. Otherwise you will be foolish enough to buy a ticket and the ground staff will not let you get on the plane. The British Embassy will not give you a green code, nor will the French Embassy.
2. Stealing to Dubai
Those who do not have a Schengen visa can only go to Dubai. After all, the UK can fly to Dubai, and Dubai is visa-free for Chinese passports. After entry, after testing, apply for a green code with Dubai as the origin, and then fly back to China.
The above two options are actually very risky, because the embassy can ask you to upload entry stamps from Paris and Dubai, and then look at your previous departure stamps to know that you slipped out of the UK. It’s not surprising to just give a red code. In fact, several friends have eaten red codes in Paris and either stayed in France or returned to the UK.
3. Stealing to Ethiopia
Ethiopia, like Dubai, is visa-free for Chinese passports. It is strongly not recommended that you fly with an airline because the probability of a circuit breaker is too high. Moreover, ET636 and ET606 are currently grounded, and the remaining ET684 will fuse at any time. You know, this is not a connecting ticket. Once it blows, it can only stay on the other side of the world.
4. Run to Türkiye to transit.
Turkey can apply for an electronic visa, and you can also fly from the UK, so someone made a "wrong idea". Please don’t forget that Turkey imposes a 14-day quarantine on people smuggled out of the UK. By then the day lilies will be cold!
5. Go to Minsk, Belarus
Belarus is also a country that has air connections with the United Kingdom and implements a visa-free policy for China. But this is also a 14-day mandatory quarantine, where flights back home are either blown or prepared to be blown.
So, I advise those who plan to "smuggle" back from the UK to try not to do so. The risk is too high and not worth it.
Second, you do not have to pay Lufthansa’s account when transferring in Frankfurt
Transfer in Frankfurt unless you are subject to re-inspection upon entry. If you do not enter the country (no Schengen), you can only choose Lufthansa flights. This wave of local protectionism in Frankfurt is a lever.
Thirdly, I foolishly ran to Amsterdam.
First of all, Amsterdam does have the ability to conduct double exploration in transit. but! Double transfer inspection is only for group passengers! It is impossible to contain one person. If you want to transfer from Amsterdam, you must take a KLM flight, then purchase tickets as a group, let travel agencies and other institutions apply to KLM, and only after approval can you test.
If you stupidly go to Amsterdam Airport to transfer, there will definitely be no way to detect it, and there will be a very high risk of being detained.
On the other hand, Effie Leyou still has face in KLM. We have tried here before a few examples of compatriots who successfully applied for KLM and were able to turn around. As for everyone trying their luck.
4. Go to Austria and take Air China.
Like Frankfurt, many friends plan to go to Vienna to take Air China. After all, the price for the route back to Vienna is pretty good and there aren’t many people there. However, the problem is that the setup in Vienna and Frankfurt is the same. Non-Schengen non-entry transit double negative tests are not allowed at Vienna Airport unless traveling with Austrian Airlines OS075. Unless you have a Schengen visa and can enter the country for inspection, there is really no need to consider connecting in Vienna and taking Air China.
5. The transfer time has expired and the test center has been closed.
Finally bought a plane ticket and prepared to return to China. The most helpless thing is staying at the airport for a long time. Generally speaking, friends returning from South America and transiting through Europe will encounter this situation. I've seen a trip like this, from a friend back in Mexico:
1.LH4991.15 Mexico City - Frankfurt 210515001
2.LH7801.17 Frankfurt - Nanjing 222015551
This seems to be no problem. The whole process is Lufthansa, you can double check, and there is enough time. But the problem is that the transfer time is more than 24 hours, and it is easy to be stopped on the first trip. If you see other tickets recommending going this way, I can only wish you good luck! Because there is a high chance that you won’t be able to leave, it’s definitely not recommended by cautious people!
The "business hours" of the Paris Test are very special.
In addition, many test centers have opening hours and are even held on holidays. Everyone must check the time in advance. The most complex is the testing center in Paris. The sampling time on Monday 1/4/7 is different from Wednesday, and the time to get the results is also different. If you accidentally go to work, you will be in big trouble!
6. Overnight at Copenhagen Airport.
It’s also a problem of staying in the airport for too long. Some people say that I cannot stay at the head office for more than 24 hours! But the answer is: no! This situation comes from Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. This airport is not open 24 hours a day and people are rushed out at 23:59 every day. You can't spend the night at the airport. remember. If you don’t have a visa, you can only do it.
Seven. There are no tests by appointment in Helsinki and Frankfurt.
Both airport transfer testing centers in Germany and Finland require an appointment to be transferred for dual testing. Finland also requires reservations at least one week in advance. Once, a friend took dual immigration tests in Frankfurt without making an appointment and was rejected. Later, he asked my grandfather to tell my grandma that she found a kind-hearted doctor and made a temporary appointment (or appointment, which is equivalent to a plus) to get the transit test. As for whether Finland has this treatment, I don’t know.
As for other transit airports, the requirements are similar. You have to sort out all your relationships before you go home.
