The present situation of tourism resources in Kunming University is as follows

Kunming University's "Research on the Integration of Production and Education in Kunming University and the Poverty Alleviation Project in Dongchuan, Kunming" was approved by the Ministry of Education, and our school became the first batch of universities in Yunnan Province approved by the Ministry of Education.

The project is based on three main points:

First, the discipline construction and personnel training and reserve of health tourism specialty

Kunming University has a complete range of disciplines, mainly focusing on tourism management, hotel management and cooking nutrition, and integrating into the multidisciplinary courses of medical college, physical education college, fine arts college, etc., to create a curriculum system and discipline construction of health tourism specialty, and to cultivate and reserve management and service talents for Yunnan Province and even the whole country.

Two, Kunming Dongchuan minority poverty-stricken areas, a township (social block township) and a village (Awang village) health tourism project planning and implementation suggestions.

Dongchuan district is a concentrated contiguous poverty-stricken area supported by the state, with a large number of poor people, a large area of poverty and a deep degree of poverty. It is the shortcoming of Kunming's economic and social development and the main battlefield of the city's precision poverty alleviation work. At the same time, Dongchuan is also one of the precision poverty alleviation points of Kunming University's "bag gang", providing human and intellectual support for this project; Dongchuan is rich in natural and human resources, and its red land is known as the palette of nature. It is also a sketch and photography base that Kunming College strives to build, which provides tourism resources for this project. The high air quality, suitable climate and concentrated ecological villages in this area ensure the quality of healthy tourism projects.

Third, the integration of production and education poverty alleviation path construction and implementation

Through specialty construction and personnel training, as well as project design and case implementation, we will build an integrated poverty alleviation mechanism and path in Industry-University-Research.

It is hoped that Kunming College can make great progress in specialty construction, integration of production and education, poverty alleviation and other aspects through the project, and strive to become the vanguard of the southwest project.
