Eight views of Zhongdu ancient town

Zhongdu Ancient Town, located 26 kilometers northwest of Luzhai County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the birthplace of Luzhai civilization. These eight scenic spots are ancient residential buildings, Zhongdu Fumin Hall, Luogong Mansion, Zhongdu ancient gun tower, county ancient city wall ruins, Zhongdu Wumiao, Zhongdu Chenghuang Temple ruins and cliff stone carvings.

Ancient residential groups Ancient residential groups began in the middle of Qing Dynasty and are located in the center of Zhongdu Town. The whole community is full of blue bricks and gray tiles, a wooden frame, simple and typical. Going deep into it, you can appreciate the charm of antique everywhere. It is divided into four streets: east, west, south and north, and four doors: east, west, north and south. After vicissitudes of life, there are still many well-preserved old shops, inn sites, ancient houses and other buildings. Zhongdu Wuci, Yuedong Guild Hall and Zhong's former residence are located among them, which can better reflect the historical features of the ancient city.

Luo Mansion Luo Mansion was built by Luo Juzhi, who was in charge of the Qing army during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, in the third year of the Republic of China (AD 19 14). During the Republic of China, his son Luo served as an administrative inspector and security commander in the third district of Zhejiang, and as an administrative inspector and security commander in Liuzhou, Guangxi, also known as Luo's official residence.

The ancient artillery building is divided into two floors. The first layer is rock, and the foundation is compacted with mixed lime sand; The second floor is a blue brick-wood structure with observation holes and blastholes.

The city wall runs from Yingshan North (Zhongdu City God Temple) along the ridge to Yingshan Peak. Shicheng city wall is still 100 meters, of which about 70 meters are well preserved. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, he moved to Tang Ling (Luorong Town) in the first month of the third year of Wanli (1575).

Zhongduwu Temple Zhongduwu Temple is located in Zhongdu Ancient Town, which was founded in the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 200 years. The modeling and design of temples with blue bricks and gray tiles fully embodies the architectural style of Qing Dynasty. There are statues of Guan Yu, Guan Ping and Zhou Cang in the temple, which have high artistic and aesthetic value.

Zhongdu Town God Temple The former site of Zhongdu Town God Temple is located at the back of Yingshan Mountain, which is the town god temple in ancient county of Luo Rong. In Zhongdu Chenghuang Temple, the plaque is engraved with the jade seal and the faucet. Later, in the Republic of China, the Chenghuang Temple was completely destroyed, and the masses moved the statue of Huang Cheng to Zhongdu Temple.
