How to apply for a Thai visa with a white passport
To apply for a Thai visa with a white passport, it is best to apply for a tourist visa or business visa at the Thai Embassy in China. Citizens holding mainland Chinese passports can apply for a visa on arrival in Thailand valid for 15 days at various entry points in Thailand. But it must be at a port of entry in Thailand that allows visa on arrival.
1. Application materials for tourist visa from the Thai Embassy in China
1. Copy of round-trip air ticket or confirmed air ticket order;
2. No less than Deposit certificate of RMB 10,000;
3. Guarantee letter (in English or Thai) issued by the applicant’s home country unit or relevant department, indicating the applicant’s name and purpose of going to Thailand) printed on company letterhead and Stamped with official seal;
4. Submit a passport valid for more than 6 months, a completed visa application form and a passport-size photo (2 inches);
5. Immigration management personnel will randomly check the cash carried by tourists entering Thailand as follows: Tourist visa - cash or equivalent foreign currency 20,000 baht (per person), 40,000 baht (per household).
Notes:
1. If parents are accompanied by children, please present relevant proof of relationship such as household register, child’s birth certificate or marriage certificate (copy);
< p>2. Retired personnel do not need to issue a letter of guarantee from their employer if they present their retirement certificate (copy);3. Freelancers should go to the subdistrict office to apply for a residence certificate.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Interior of Thailand, citizens holding mainland Chinese passports can apply for a visa on arrival in Thailand valid for 15 days at various entry points in Thailand. However, you must enter Thailand at a port of entry that allows visa on arrival.
Materials required for Thailand visa on arrival:
1. Passport valid for no less than 6 months;
2. One two-inch bareheaded photo with white background ;
3. Carry 10,000 (individual), 20,000 (family) Thai baht in cash or equivalent foreign currency (Thailand Immigration Bureau will randomly check);
4. No more than 15 days round trip Air ticket (printed electronic ticket).
