Don’t buy those “fake” fruits in Suzhou scenic spots! Let’s talk about the IQ tax paid in those years
I went around Jiangsu and Zhejiang during the National Day and encountered some scams. I would like to share them with you, hoping to arouse vigilance.
Important reminder, when traveling in this prosperous era, it is best not to just leave. It is necessary to make a strategy in advance, not to find fun and delicious food, but to avoid all kinds of imaginative scams. Experience shows that when you are away from home, especially in affluent areas, you are more likely to be "manipulated" by scammers. Your average quality makes you relax your vigilance.
Scam 1, "Fake" Fruit
This kind of vendor is selling all over the streets in Suzhou scenic spots. Look at these colorful and fresh fruits that you can't see anywhere else. However, we bought some to experience them, and after knowing the truth, we threw them all into the trash can. Come, introduce them one by one.
The shiny, tender "ebony plums" are actually grapes that have been rubbed with oil. Some people say they are waxed or soaked in pigment, but they are not ebony plums anyway. . . I looked online and found that this thing is also sold in other scenic spots and called by other names.
He also gave three names to the cyan, red and yellow fruits: green plum, champagne fruit, and another one he forgot. We each took one by the way. It was some kind of "fruit" dyed with pigment. It was unpalatable and disgusting, so we threw it away.
The yellow long-thorned "sea cucumber fruit" may not be considered a fake fruit, but it is definitely not delicious. It is a plant in the cucumber family and is tastier than cucumbers. It is probably the same as old cucumbers. Throw them away.
The striped ginseng fruit next to it has not paid tax, so it is probably not much better.
The most normal ones in the entire stall are the oranges and plums on the right, which we avoided perfectly. Smiling face.
Scam 2: Buying tickets is a one-day trip that will make you lose money.
This is what I saw online, and it is also in Suzhou. We have not encountered it. We hope to be alert, so you can search online by yourself.
In addition, all major scenic spots in Suzhou implement a real-name reservation system to purchase tickets. We did not make a reservation in advance, so we could only look outside the scenic spot that day, haha. Just leave as you say, so you can only walk. But if you don’t go into the scenic area, you can just visit other neighborhoods.
Scam 3, Didi said there would be an extra charge for "traffic jam"
When we returned to Deqing from Moganshan, we called Didi, but the driver said the traffic jam was severe and the fare would be 20 RMB. After Yuan Cai left, we thought it was reasonable and got on the bus. We felt something wasn't right, so we said, "If there's no traffic jam, we won't go." Then the driver got irritable and said, how do you judge whether it is a traffic jam or not? All kinds of irritability mean that you have to pay more, regardless of whether it is a traffic jam or not.
We immediately asked him to end the order early, got off the car and called Didi again. The journey was smooth and there was no traffic jam at all.
In this way, after a three-day trip to Jiangsu and Zhejiang, I have a very bad impression of Suzhou. The local government management needs to be strengthened. Moganshan's service awareness also needs to be improved.
On the other hand, Nanxun Ancient Town in Huzhou is very good. The town is clean, comfortable and quality. In addition, the bus from Huzhou to Nanxun along the shoreline of Taihu Lake is simply a sightseeing bus. See the map for location.
Okay, two topics,
First, after being deceived, we thought of many ways to defeat the scammer, but there was no particularly clever one. Is there any expert tip? , try it next time you go to Suzhou.
Second, everyone knows what scams have you encountered in scenic spots.
