What are the attractions in the Song and Yuan Yamen Naval Battle Cultural Tourism Area?

1. Yamen Ancient Fort

Yamen Ancient Fort is the most complete single ancient fort preserved in Guangdong Province. Built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, it is in the shape of a half-moon, standing majestically on a cliff with the mountain behind it and facing the sea. It tightly guards the sea channel of Yamen and has always been a border defense fortress in the coastal areas of Guangdong. Although it has experienced interference from the smoke of war, various equipment and facilities have been preserved. It is very complete, and every plant and tree inside is a witness to the historical era. This is also the location where "Let the Bullets Fly" was filmed.

2. Yashan Palace

This is where the all-powerful Song Dynasty established the only large-scale emperor's palace in Guangdong more than 700 years ago - Yashan Palace.

3. Ciyuan Temple

Ciyuan Temple (commonly known as the Temple of the Mother of the Nation) is to commemorate the Mother of the Nation of the Southern Song Dynasty who served the country steadfastly, would rather die than surrender, and led an army of 200,000 to defend her nation. It was built by Empress Dowager Yang, who was revered by later generations as the embodiment of loyalty and chastity. The Yamen Sea area where it was thrown into the sea has been blessed with good weather and many celebrities for more than 700 years. It is said among the people that it is the spiritual blessing of Empress Dowager Yang.
