Chichu Art Museum

The Dizhong Art Museum can be said to be the soul of Naoshima! TadaoAndo, an architect, let light and shadow freely shuttle between smooth model buildings, and successfully combined the works of Monet, landscape artists James T and WalterDeMaria with the buildings in the art museum, presenting different faces in 24 hours. During the art festival, we usually rush to buy tickets early in the morning, and tickets are often in short supply. The advantage of non-art festival period is that there are few tourists, so you can go to the art museum directly!

Since photography is forbidden as soon as you enter the underground art gallery area, only photos of the beautiful promenade at the entrance are put.

Li Yuhuan Art Museum

Li Yuhuan is a Korean minimalist painter and sculptor, and Rao Fuzhe studies the significance of his works. The Art Museum was designed by Tadao Ando, and the design of the main building corresponds to Li Yuhuan's works from 1970s to the present. The outdoor area can see the mountains and the sea at the same time, which is a very suitable place for thinking.

Behnes House Art Museum ()

The art museum opened on 1992, which is a compound facility integrating exhibition, accommodation and food. There are many permanent works indoors and outdoors. Outdoor works include famous works such as Hiroshi Sugimoto, Xinboda Bamboo, and Nikid St. Peleg. Don't miss them when they are hidden in mountain walls, beaches and other areas. You can follow the road leading to the yellow pumpkin!

As long as you show the yellow pumpkins in Yayoi Kusama, you will know that you have come to Naoshima! Pumpkins are almost as tall as people, standing on the shore every day, facing the Seto inland sea (but when the typhoon comes, it will actually be temporarily evacuated! In addition, there is a red pumpkin in the public servant port (don't forget to harvest! (Laughter)

Know Qiantang

After a day's walk, you must take a bath in Zhidao Qiantang at night! The artist NobuhiroOtsuka rebuilt the floor, walls, faucets, toilets and so on. People have the illusion of entering the tropical rain forest as soon as they step in, but the facilities also fully present the traditional Japanese bathing culture!

Zhidao Ding Min Club (Zhidao)

The Naomachi People's Hall designed by one third of Zhibo is the activity center of Naomachi islanders, which can hold sports or music activities. The ventilation and lighting of the whole building are carefully designed, and it is a green building that can absorb air and adjust temperature by itself.
