After breakfast, we set out from downtown Lhasa, drove to Shigatse, and chose the 307 provincial highway which bypassed Yongcuo and Gyangze in Yang Zhuo, and visited the scenery in Tibet. After breakfast, I set off from Shigatse Hotel and stayed in Saga County on the first day.

3. Day 3: Worship the Holy Mountain and the Holy Lake.

Arrive in Tarchin town for accommodation the next day. After starting from Shigatse, the first day's trip was mainly to catch up with time, and the next day I went to Shenshan Holy Lake. The sacred lake Mabian Yongcuo and Shenshangang Rinpoche are not far from the national highway. You can stay in Hall Township by the lake and watch Mabian Yongcuo. Day 4: Zadatulin

Tarqin Town (Baga Township) -230 km-Zada County -250 km-Gaer County

Depart from Tarchin Town Hotel to Zada County in the morning. Turn into Bazaar Highway from Balbing Station to Zada County, and the highway will pass through Zada soil forest landscape, so you can stop and take photos. Stay at Zada County Hotel on the same day.

Day 5: Explore the Kingdom of Guge

Get up early the next day to visit the ruins of Guge Kingdom, return to the county seat at noon, go to Gail County after lunch and stay at Gail County Hotel.

Ruins of Guge Kingdom: The castle of Guge Kingdom continued to expand from 10 century to 16 century, but the mysterious Guge Dynasty disappeared into history almost overnight. From the foot of the site to the top of the mountain, there are more than 300 meters high and more than 600 houses, pagodas and caves, forming a huge ancient architectural complex. The building complex is divided into upper, middle and lower floors, followed by palaces, temples and houses. There are five temple buildings with relatively complete murals, and there are clay sculptures and colorful murals of Buddha statues left in the temple.

The accommodation in Zhada County is convenient. Although the grade is not very high, you can't take a bath, but it is still relatively clean and tidy. Gaer county is the capital of Ali region, and the county seat is relatively prosperous, with hotels and inns of various grades.

Day 6: Seagulls fly in class.

Gaer County-250km-Doma Township

Depart from Gail County Hotel to Domar Town in the morning. Although the journey is not long, we will arrange a half-day tour because we have to pass the Pearl of the Plateau. You can take a yacht to Bangong CuO Bird Island and see the seagull map of Qi Fei. Stay in Doma Township on the same day.

Bangongcuo: The average elevation of Bangongcuo is 4,400 meters, and the whole lake area is 604 square kilometers, including 4 13 square kilometers in China; Indian-controlled Kashmir 19 1 km2. Bird Island on Bangong Lake is a paradise for birds. There are about 20 kinds of birds on the island, and the largest number can reach tens of thousands. Day 7: Crossing No Man's Land

Doma Township -230 km-Yecheng County

Depart from Domar Town Hotel for Yecheng County in the morning. This section will pass through a large no-man's land in the high altitude area of Karakorum Mountain, mainly by highway, and stop in Setula town the day before.

Day 8: Yecheng, Xinjiang

The next day, I arrived in Yecheng, Xinjiang and stayed in Yecheng County.

Tips

After several years' reconstruction, the whole highway of the new Tibet line is basically asphalt pavement, and the road conditions are good. There are several sections of expressway in Xinjiang for temporary maintenance, but the distance is not long, which will not affect the traffic.

The road to Zada county has to cross several snow-covered mountain passes, and it is possible to close the mountain with heavy snow in winter. It is suggested that the best season is April -65438+ 10.

Ali area and Karakorum mountain area in Xinjiang belong to high altitude areas, with an average altitude of more than 4500 meters. Pay close attention to the occurrence of high rebellion.
