1. Niu Guzhang:

Niu Guzhang is famous for its mountainous terrain It is named after a cow lying on the ground. It is located in the north of Paitan Town, with an altitude of 1084 meters. It is the highest peak in Zengcheng District. The entire mountain stretches for tens of kilometers and borders Longmen County in the north.

There are many ancient trees, strange rocks, cliffs, waterfalls, and many caves on the mountain, some of which can accommodate hundreds of people. The top of the mountain is often shrouded in clouds and mist, but if you climb it in the clear autumn weather, you can overlook the mountains and rivers of Zengcheng. The Pearl River Estuary, Humen and Guangzhou City are also dimly visible.

2. Baishui Mountain:

Baishui Mountain is located on Zhucun Street, 20 kilometers away from Licheng Street and accessible by highway. The main peak is 462 meters above sea level. The mountain is steep and the scenery is beautiful. It is one of the eight scenic spots in Zengcheng in ancient times. There is a clear spring at the southern foot of the main peak. During the rainy season, the spring water overflows and falls from the gap between the cliffs. From a distance, it looks like a white ribbon hanging on a green curtain, so it is commonly known as the White Water Ribbon.

In the Ming Dynasty, a temple was built on the mountain, named Qiyun Temple. Unfortunately, it has been destroyed, but the towering ancient trees around the site are still there.

3. Nanxiang Mountain:

Nanxiang Mountain was called Nanqiao Mountain in ancient times, standing side by side with Xiqiao Mountain and Dongqiao Mountain, both of which are famous places in central Guangdong. It is located in the former Ningxi Town of Xintang Town. The altitude is only 433 meters, but the mountain is majestic and stands out above the plains, making it even more eye-catching. Its majestic appearance can also be seen from ships in the area where the Dongjiang River merges into the Pearl River Estuary, so it is also known as the "natural navigation mark" of the Pearl River Estuary. .

4. Huxin Island:

Huxin Island is located in Xihutan Village, Zhengguo Town. It is a river-center island in the upper reaches of Zengjiang River. It is 20 kilometers away from Licheng Street, the center of Zengcheng District, and is accessible by highway. The island is covered with dense shade, deep and quiet, with a total area of ??about 250 acres. Upstream of the island is where the Longmen Yonghan River merges into the Zengjiang River.

5. Sea cave:

The sea cave is a cave formed by the long-term erosion of red sandstone by waves on land. It is located near the Xintang Port pier in the south of Zengcheng District. On the hill is one of the eight new scenic spots in Zengcheng, called "The Traces of the Ancient Sea". The cave is 20 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 2.5 meters high. At the end of the cave is a stone cliff, with a stone platform under the cliff, like a temple.
