1, Yuanshangdu site

The site of Yuanshangdu is located on the north bank of Lightning River, 20km northeast of Shangdu Town, Zhenglan Banner, south of Xilinhot City, and was built in 1256. It was the capital determined by Kublai Khan, the founding emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, when he inherited the Mongol khanate. Later, after the Yuan Dynasty made Beijing its capital, it was also called Beijing or Luanjing as the capital.

2. Shangdu Lake

There is a golden flower field near Shangdu Lake, and the lake is sparkling, where you can feel the original natural scenery.

3. Yuanshangdu Ruins Museum

The museum is located 5 kilometers south of the Yuanshangdu site, halfway up the mountain on the east side of Ulantai Aobao. 5. Jinlianchuan

Jinlianchuan grassland is located along the Lightning River in Zhenglan Banner. The middle of Sichuan is full of golden flowers, and seven petals surround its heart. It blooms in June and is golden everywhere. So this place was named Jinlianchuan, and the Liao Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Zhou Huan. It was a summer resort for emperors and ministers in Liao Dynasty, and it was also used as a summer resort by emperors in Jin Dynasty. Jinlianchuan is also the summer palace of Mongolian royal family.
