Day 1: Fly from Guangzhou to Hangzhou and stay in a hotel near the West Lake. You can arrange to go to Lingyin Temple (Feilaifeng), Hefang Street and Imperial Street in Southern Song Dynasty.

The next day: visit the West Lake. Main attractions: Three pools reflecting the moon (you can get on the boat from the lake and land in Zhongshan Park. Go west along the lake to watch fish in Quyuan Fenghe, Su Causeway, Huagang, Leifeng Tower and Liulang Wenying, and return to the lake (if you are tired, you can spend 40 yuan/person riding an electric car around the lake). Take the train to Nanjing around dinner time and live near Confucius Temple. Visit Qinhuai River.

Day 3: Visit Nanjing. You can mainly visit Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Presidential Palace and Xuanwu Lake. Go to Suzhou by train and live in Suzhou.

Day 4: Visit Suzhou and go to Shanghai in the evening. Visit Suzhou gardens such as Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Forest, Hanshan Temple and Guanqian Street.

Day 5: Go to Shanghai and fly to Guangzhou. Visit the Oriental Pearl or the World Financial Center and Yu Garden (Old Town God Temple).

Generally, the discount for flights to Shanghai and Beijing will be larger. There is a small discount for planes flying to small places. You can check the flight time and ticket discount in detail, or vice versa.
