How to punish Beijing's restricted vehicles on the road

1. Penalty for violating the restriction rules: penalty 100 yuan, no penalty, and no repeated penalty within 3 hours.

2. If a passenger car from other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities that has obtained a Beijing Pass travels on the road within the Fifth Ring Road (inclusive) from 7: 00 to 9: 00 and 17: 00 to 20: 00 on weekdays, it will be deemed as an illegal act of "motor vehicle violating the prohibition sign", and it will be fined 100 yuan, with 3 points recorded;

3. Motor vehicles from other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities that did not apply for the Beijing Pass entered the roads within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) and were deemed as "motor vehicles violating the prohibition sign", and were fined 100 yuan, with 3 points recorded.

Beijing restrictions and scope:

1, Beijing brand car:

① State-owned enterprises and institutions in Beijing: one day a week (00:00-24:00), covering all road sections;

② Beijing citizens and private cars: the tail number is restricted, from 07: 00 to 20: 00, and all roads within the Fifth Ring Road are restricted.

2. Restrictions on foreign cars:

① Passenger cars: the time limit is 07:00-09:00 and 17:00-20:00, and the limit is within the Fifth Ring Road (including the Fifth Ring Road);

② Non-passenger vehicles: the time limit is 09:00- 17:00, and the limit range is within the Fifth Ring Road (including the Fifth Ring Road), and the limit is subject to the tail number.

Motor vehicles not subject to measures:

1, police cars, fire engines, ambulances and engineering rescue vehicles;

2, bus * * * electric vehicles, inter-provincial long-distance passenger vehicles and large buses, taxis (excluding rental vehicles), minibuses, special postal vehicles, vehicles with tourist bus operation certificates issued by the municipal transportation management department, unit buses and school buses approved by the municipal public security traffic management department;

3. Administrative law enforcement vehicles and special vehicles for removing obstacles that are painted with uniform signs and perform official duties;

4, sanitation, gardens, road maintenance vehicles, funeral vehicles in the funeral home;

5, hanging "make" prefix number plate vehicles and approved temporary entry vehicles;

6. Pure electric passenger cars (passenger cars driven by electric motors with rechargeable batteries as the sole power source).

Legal basis:

Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law (Revised 202 1) stipulates that the traffic administrative department of the public security organ may impose odd and even number restrictions on motor vehicles according to specific conditions such as roads and traffic flow. If a motor vehicle violates the restrictions, it shall be given a warning or a fine of not less than 20 yuan but not more than 200 yuan according to the provisions of Article 90 of the Road Traffic Safety Law.
