1, Lightning Lake Scenic Area

Lightning Lake, also known as Bashang Grassland Lightning Lake, is located in Guyuan County, Hebei Province. It is a big lake in the upper reaches of Luanhe River, named after the lightning river before entering the lake. Looking down from a height, the shape of the lake is also like lightning.

The water in Lightning Lake is not deep, crystal clear and the water plants are swaying. Occasionally, shrimp can be seen swimming in the water, and black and white waterfowl can rise and fall on the water. Cheng Xiaohong site, also known as Xiaohong City and Wulan City, is located on the west bank of Lightning River in Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, and is generally divided into three phases. 500 meters southwest of Xiaohong City is an ancient building site with an area of about 1.200 square meters. On the exposed surface, there are whole tiles and blue bricks, black glazed porcelain pots with cage patterns, large glazed porcelain pots, chicken leg bottles and many mud-gray pottery and white porcelain.
