Zhuhai Doumen scenic spot

Doumen District of Zhuhai City is located at the southwest end of the Pearl River Delta and in the west of Zhuhai City, with an area of 674.8 square kilometers. The scenic spots in Doumen District of Zhuhai City are:

1. The ancient street in Qing Dynasty is located in Doumen Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City, with a total length of more than 500 meters. It used to be a commodity distribution center in the surrounding areas in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It was planned and designed by Jia Liwei, a baptist priest and architectural engineer in Macau, Canada, and was built by absorbing the essence of European and American classical architecture.

2. Nanmenyi is located in Nanmen Village, Doumen Town, Doumen District, Zhuhai City. It was built by Zhao Long, the younger brother of the 15th King of Kuangmei, in memory of his great-grandfather. Gables are made of oyster shells, which is a special architectural technology in ancient coastal areas of South Guangdong.

3. Jintai Temple, formerly known as Jintai Jingshe, is located in Doumen District, Zhuhai City, with its back against Huangyang Mountain, which is known as the highest peak in the Pearl River at an altitude of 583 meters. It is one of the eight scenic spots of Antelope. Zhao Shi, Deng Guangjian and Gong Xingqing, adherents of the Song Dynasty, once lived here to avoid the war.
