Huacheng Temple: Kaishan Temple in Jiuhua Mountain, which is also the first of the hundred monasteries in the whole mountain, with a history of more than 1,5 years. The name of the temple comes from the story of the petrochemical city in Hokkekyo. Huacheng Temple, located on Huacheng Peak, was rebuilt by Zhuge Festival in the Tang Dynasty for the gold mine. It is located in Jiuhua Street, the heart of Jiuhua Mountain. It is built on the mountain, facing Furong Peak in the south, Baiyun Mountain in the north, East Cliff in the east, Shenguangling in the west, and surrounded by a city. The front and back of the temple entered four times, rising step by step with the terrain, with majestic momentum and lush trees. There is a semi-circular lotus pond in front of the temple, named Crescent Pond, which is said to be the releasing pond in Jin Qiaojue. The plaque of "Huacheng Temple" hangs high on the door of the temple. The wood carvings on the lintel, the bucket arch and the beams and columns are all exquisite, especially the ceiling caisson in the main hall is engraved with Kowloon Pan Pearl, which is a fine wood carving. In addition, there are bamboo root carved lions, copper crabs, jade ruyi, silver towers, agate beads necklaces and other antiquities. There is a carved golden dragon with rock texture, which is a work in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, with bright knife method and exquisite shape. Another artificially polished eight-tone stone, also made in the Ming Dynasty, can produce eight kinds of pleasant sounds when struck, which is a musical instrument for monks to strike when chanting scriptures. Behind the temple, there is a Buddhist scripture building built in the Ming Dynasty, which contains the complete Nirvana Sutra, and even the Huayan Blood Sutra, which took 28 years to write, was preserved by the flawless monk in the Hundred Years Palace of the Ming Dynasty with his own blood and gold powder. In addition, there are many kinds of gold, jade and bronze Fo Yin with the words "treasure for living in the earth" engraved on it.

Moon Hall: It was built in the 13th year of Zhenyuan in Tang Dynasty (AD 797) and rebuilt in Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty (AD 1862-1874). It is a tower-shaped temple on the ground of Tombs of Tibetan Kings in Jindi. In ancient times, the word "moon" was connected with the word "flesh", so it was also called "flesh treasure hall" or "flesh pagoda". There are 81 steps in front of the temple, and Buddhism has the name of "eighty-one difficult". There is an overpass at the top, with the words "Panshi Chang 'an" engraved on the south side of the bridge and the words "Shenguang Extraordinary" engraved on the north side of the bridge. The hall is square, with a height of more than ten feet, carved beams and painted buildings, and the momentum is magnificent. There is a pagoda in the center of the temple, with seven floors and eight sides, 17 meters high, full of shrines, and more than 1 statues of flesh hidden in gold. The body of the Tibetan monk sits in the tower.

Tiantai Temple: It is located at the peak of Tiantai at an altitude of 1,36 meters, facing south, with a wood and stone structure and a hard top. The whole temple consists of three groups of residential halls. The temple lies across the valley, with the peak ridge (Qinglongbei) as the barrier in the east, Yupingtai as the wall in the south, and abrupt huge rocks as the connection point in the west and north, and the stone platform foundation with a height of 8 meters is built on the valley ground to form a flat plane. The bottom of the temple is overhead, with a water storage well under it. The whole building is hidden by towering cliffs, which is both cold-proof and very strong. Its mountain gate is in the south of the gable of the main hall, which is a rolling arch cave with a diameter of 3.4 meters and a depth of 4.2 meters. Its east and north are facing cliffs, which can directly enter the second floor of the main hall. Turn south and follow the aisle outside the wall to "Pengri Pavilion" or "Qinglongbei". The main hall (also known as the Ten Thousand Buddha Tower) is 1 meters wide and 13 meters deep. There is a slant door behind the temple leading to Guanyin Hall, guest room and Yunshui Hall. There are many scenic spots around the temple. The temple is the tallest building in Jiuhua Mountain, with a building area of 1,54 square meters. It is a national key temple.

In addition, the four most famous jungles are Zhiyuan Temple, Baisui Palace, Kanroji and Dongyan Temple. All centered on Huacheng Temple.

Gion Temple: Located at the west foot of Dongyan, east of Huacheng Temple, facing Jiuhua Street, it was first built in the Ming Dynasty. Before and after the five entrances, the hall is magnificent, which is the largest temple in Jiuhua Mountain. Slate roads are paved in front of the temple, and the patterns of lotus flowers and money are engraved on the slabs. The main hall, named Daxiong Hall, is 13 feet high, painted with double eaves and covered with golden glazed tiles. There are three giant buddhas in the temple, sitting on the lotus platform, all of which are more than 2 feet high. Plastic island Guanyin statue behind the temple. There are many houses in the temple, which are tortuous and like a maze. There are 8 cauldrons in the kitchen, commonly known as Thousand Monks Stove, and the largest one has a diameter of more than ten feet, which shows that there were many monks and the scale was large at that time.

Baisui Palace: also known as Wannian Temple, you can climb the stone steps behind Gion Temple. You can also take the cable car up the mountain. Boarding the Centennial Palace, overlooking from the window, Mopan Peak, Wulao Peak, Taikoo Mountain and Fenghuang Mountain are vividly visible. The temple is dedicated to a gold-plated statue of an immaculate monk who sat in Jiuhua Mountain during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. You can also go up the mountain by cable car

Kanroji: Kanroji is the first temple that tourists see when they go up the mountain. It was built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, and it is located on the way from the Second Temple to Jiuhua Street, not far from the "centering stone". The front and rear halls are built on two pedestals, one dark and one bright, one high and one low, with novel and interesting layout. There is a legend about the origin of Kanroji: The Yulin Buddhist of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty was sent by Kangxi and came to Jiuhua twice to worship the Tibetan Bodhisattva. When I first came to the centering stone halfway up the mountain, I saw that this area was lush and secluded, with the scenery of Dragon Waterfall and Tianchi in the east and the joy of Guishan in the west. I thought it was very suitable to build a big temple here. On my second visit, I heard that Dong An, the main Buddhist monk of Crouching Tiger Cave, was willing to build a temple according to this idea. He personally went to Crouching Tiger Cave to visit Dong An and encouraged him to build a temple. Coincidentally, on the morning of the ground breaking, dew fell in the sky. Everyone is happy. The court heard of it and gave it the name "Kanroji". Kanroji is now one of the key monasteries in China, and the Jiuhuashan Buddhist College is located in the temple.

Dongyan Temple: Located about 15m east of Huacheng Temple, it is divided into two monasteries, one on the mountain and the other on the mountain. Dongyan Upper Courtyard was destroyed by a fire in 1933. The existing Xiayan Temple is a five-story building with gorgeous carvings inside, which is now turned into Jiuhua Hotel. Nearby, there are places of interest, such as Yanzuo Rock, Underground Cave, Bell Tower in Qing Dynasty, Tianchi, Longnvquan, Min Cemetery, Taibai Bookstore Site, and the stone carving of "Yun Shenchu" written by Wang Shouren (Wang Yangming) in Ming Dynasty.

In addition, there are these famous temples

Tan Lin Temple: located in the southwest of Jiuhua Street. Brick and wood structure. It is composed of four hall-style houses and palace-style Daxiong Hall. To the east are the monk's room and the den room, with an open hall, a three-story pavilion and a small patio that falls into the water. To the west is Yunshui Hall, with 4 open rooms, 2 floors and a small patio. Between the monk's room and Yunshui Hall is the front hall, which is divided into Maitreya Hall and Wei Tuo Hall with a partition wall, with a depth of 2.5 meters, and the two halls are two-story pavilions. There is a long and narrow closed courtyard in front of the hall, paved with stone slabs, followed by a four-water patio. It is directly south of the Daxiong Hall, which is 18 meters high, 11.5 meters wide and 15.5 meters deep, and the cornices on the top of Xieshan Mountain are upturned. On the west side of the main hall is the flower hall, which has two floors and is called "Mountain Zhongtian". The beams, doors, windows and shrines in the temple are beautifully carved. Tan Lin is a building in the late Qing Dynasty, with a building area of 2,849 square meters, which is a national key temple.

Great Compassion Hall: It is a new hall expanded after the reconstruction of the Shanmen Gate in 1988. This temple was built by Hui Shen, who was presided over by Tan Lin. The whole project design is antique, elegant and magnificent. The main building is as high as six feet and three feet, and the Buddha with thousands of hands and eyes in the center of the hall is magnificent. The whole project covers an area of more than 3, square meters and is a Dojo dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva. It is said that after the main beam in this temple, there have been many white light clusters similar to buddhas and bodhisattvas. This is the first magical light mass in Jiuhua Mountain in recent years, and people call it "Buddha Light". Now Jiuhuashan Buddhist Association is located in this temple, which is one of the places for large-scale Buddhist activities.

Five Hundred Arhats Hall: The newly-built Five Hundred Arhats Hall stands out from the Centennial Palace. With a total construction area of more than 1, square meters, the 5 Luohan Hall is a palace-style structure, which is coordinated with the Baisui Palace to form a castle-style building complex built on cliffs. Five hundred arhats hall is dedicated to five hundred arhats, and the whole hall is full of postures and magnificent momentum. Baisui Palace 5 Luohan Hall is the only one of the four major Foshan in China at present, and its construction has added a unique new landscape to Jiuhua Mountain.

Huiju Temple: formerly known as Huiqing Temple. Located at the west foot of Tiantai Mountain and east of Zhongmin Garden. Founded in the Qing Dynasty, the abbot Renlin expanded in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1938, the abbot, Pu Ming, raised funds to rebuild the main hall, expanded the squatter houses, and settled down to meet the crowd, which began to take shape in the jungle and changed its name to "Huiju Temple". In 1982, the temple was rebuilt. In 1984, all the Buddha statues were painted and gilded. The temple is backed by high mountains and faces the sea of bamboo, and the environment is very beautiful. The building area is 541 square meters. The statues of eighteen arhats and bodhisattvas in the temple are beautiful in shape and realistic in expression. It is a national key temple.

ancient worship platform: the ancient worship platform is under Tiantai peak, about 2 Li away from Guanyin peak. The road to the rooftop should bypass the temple. Legend has it that Jin Dizang once recited the Huayan Sutra here, and monks built this temple to commemorate it, named "Dayuan Temple" (Buddhism called Jin Dizang "Dayuan Bodhisattva"). Because "worship of the scriptures" is more popular and easy to remember, it is called "ancient worship platform" Baijingtai Daxiong Hall, rebuilt in 1994, has a building area of 65 square meters. The double eaves rest on the roof, and the frame structure is solemn and vigorous. There are three giant buddhas in front of the temple, Manjusri and Pu Xian, Guanyin on the island behind, and eighteen arhats on both sides. More than ten steps up the stone steps from the side of Daxiong Hall, that is, to the site of worship in Jindizang. Build an open-hall tile house, about 2 feet high and wide, for a sitting statue with gold hidden in the ground. On the right wall, there is an inscription inscribed with the words "Ancient Worship Platform". A rectangular rock with concave footprints protrudes from the ground. Legend has it that in those days, Jin Di Cang worshiped the scriptures on this protruding platform, and this rock was a stepping stone when he bowed down, thus leaving footprints. Monks who used to practice penance in Fuhu Cave have been hiding and worshiping the Huayan Sutra for decades, and they have also worn dents on the floor.
